Excel Urgent Care of Howard Beach

"I had to make an appointment here, as my son’s pediatrician’s office was booked and I was taken right into a room after I checked in. The nurse came in promptly. He took some vitals and swabbed for strep. Within minutes I had my son’s results and after another 5 min the dr came in and gave us the rundown of medicine to treat the symptoms and sent the script over. My very impatient 5yr old and I were out the door in less than 30 min. It may have been a more expensive co-pay than a pediatrician’s office visit, but I know I wouldn’t have been out the door as quickly. With a sick child, sometimes it’s better to pay more to be done faster."

"No one at the desk for more than 15 mins . No smiles & everyone moved slowly /casually in & out. 2 looked at me but didn't bother to greet me, apologise for the wait or advise that someone would be right with me. When a line started to form we were told to be seated & wait to be called but there was no sign in sheet so people & receptionist had to rely on memory . Not a good feeling when u expect "urgent care.".walking in. Once in everything was fine. But staff is not customer friendly or caring."

"I had a great experience here compared to other urgent care centers I have been too. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming, and their service is fast and efficient. I would definitely come here more often and recommend others to come here as well."

"was very good very clean place very good costumer Service they offer coffee and water for free 5 stars only .. negative it was just one Doctor on Site and one Nurse Very kind by the way and professional. had to wait 3 1/2 hour to be seen by a Doctor. For that I wont give the 5 stars. thank you."

"Front desk very welcoming and professional. Brought right to a waiting room where we didn't wait more than five minutes. The medical assistant was very patient, warm and friendly. The doctor was thorough and accommodating. Overall, a wonderful visit!"
