"My Mom, Inessa Gelena, is a patient of Dr. Zhang. He helped her tremendously with both of her concerns - back pain and insomnia. Her back pained eased after a few sessions and she is sleeping like a baby for a month already after a few session to aid her sleeping issues. Dr. Zhang is a true expert and a true wizard of acupuncture."
"I had a wonderful experience at Zhang’s acupuncture. Dr. Zhang helped me with many issues that I have struggled with over the years. He’s a wonderful doctor and was very kind. Highly recommend!"
"My wife had the worst experience with Zhangs Acupuncture. He was very rude and unwelcoming after she mentioned that she didn't want the herbs that he makes everyone to buy, that completely dont help and waste of money. He was very rude, didn't even ask for symptoms and where it was hurting, just put needles in. After he took them out, she was bleeding everywhere, didn't seem he cared much. Needless to say that we have been going there for awhile and recommended people to him in the past. That is no more, i would recommend avoiding this place at all cost."
"Mr zhang has a horrible, and argumentative style. He pushes herbs for his financial gain. In my case I took my grandson to him for elbow pain and he immediately came up with the diagnosis of “student elbow”. When he saw our apparent lack of enthusiasm for that diagnosis he immediately changed it to “twisted nerve”. I also worried about his technique. He holds the sheathed needles between the back of his fingers. As he draws them out for use they can easily touch his skin. When he collects the needles after treatment he quickly stores the needles between his fingers again. This method exposes zhang and patient to possible needle stick accident. After this visit my grandson saw an orthopedist where an MRI revealed a UCL tear. Visiting zhang delayed proper treatment (surgery) and should never be a substitute for modern medicine."
"I agree with Harry in the other review, I am so shaky after this treatment I was almost in tears.. If you are looking for empathy, kindness and warmth this is not the place for you. Dr, you HAVE TO be KIND to your patients. We are IN PAIN and you treat us like a piece of meat, or worse. Do you have NO feelings at all?"
