"If I could rate them a zero I would. Called to make an appointment for a total body check almost 3 months ago. They called about 2 weeks prior to my appointment to say I was booked incorrectly. They said if I was having a problem I could still be seen. If not I would have to wait until November ( it’s February now). So when all was said I think it’s ridiculous to wait almost 1 year for an appointment. Plus they made the mistake and did absolutely nothing to try and correct it. That is terrible care !!!!"
"I never leave reviews like this but Optum/caremount is consistently the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had in seeking medical care of any kind. Particularly do not bring your kids there for dermatology. I’m sure the individuals there are fine people, but collectively they are incompetent. To reach someone at the office you have to speak with a central Optum operator. Hold times to reach these people can be 30 minutes or more. Then they will “try” to connect you to the office, which never works, so they take a message. The office does not contact you directly by phone, email, text, nothing. All you can do is call the same useless central line when you follow up days later to see if your message was received, understood and actioned. (Hint: it wasn’t). It took me over a month and *dozens* of calls to get a simple change made to my son’s acne medication. Finally I gave up and went in person to the office (I had to take off work) to speak to them. To be somewhat fair, some of the people I spoke to in the office were very nice. That said they insist on sending prescriptions to a “boutique” pharmacy that delivers because “it’s the best and they have no problems with them”. (You can get the same stuff online). Once they finally had the right prescription called in the pharmacy could not figure out how to bill my insurance (because of a member ID mismatch on my son, which no other pharmacy has ever had) so I just paid out of pocket rather than spend more time trying to resolve it. That was fine for a while, but fast forward and my son has gone to college. I called over a month ago more than once ask them to send the prescription to the pharmacy near his school. Per usual, there was no indication whether they got the memo. Today, when he’s run out of medicine, my wife finally gets through to them and is told my son has to *come in person* before they will renew the prescription. His college is 6hrs drive away. They never us this until now. They did not respond to tell us this when he could have easily come in person. They will not make an exception. I understand this is not life and death but so what? The fundamental function of this office is to treat skin conditions, and they aren’t competent to do that due to administrative deficiencies. I’m beyond frustrated. Avoid them at all costs."
"Words can’t describe how disgusted I am with Dr Amin office . First of Judy who ever you are in Peds I think you should find yourself I better job bc you are clearly not mentally capable of doing anything that requires actual WORK she is flat out miserable! Hung up on me several times? Like how old are you Ma’am No brain.. what a waste, hope you do better! And Managers are clearly not on site to witness how these family’s are treated over the phone. Terrible, horrible! No good very bad. People of elsewhere your better off."
"Went to see Dr Fijman who seems to be a very good pulmonologist. However I needed to get an extra CT scan done and he still hasn’t called me with results which he was supposed to do as soon as he got them. 4 days. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get through on their phone system. Even the supposedly new and improved one. Call for hours, no getting through. You can’t even leave a message now. I will never again go to Caremount. This is beyond frustrating and very unprofessional from their end."
"Terrible experience from the beginning at the ENT office. First, the receptionist forgets to sign me in, 1.5 hrs sitting right in front of her. I had to ask how much longer I would have to wait before she figured it out. I was prescribed steroid medication and sent for a hearing test 2 days later, the Dr was supposed to call me after the hearing test. Now I'm here 10 days later, out of medication, still have major hearing loss and loud ringing in one ear and no call from the Dr. I have tried calling him myself on 3 occasions leaving messages with Receptionists and the operator. I have also tried the website email contact form to contact the Dr with no luck. From what I understand this hearing loss could be permanent if not treated aggressively. Their untimely and non existent response may leave my hearing permanently damaged. I guess I should have researched reviews at this location and gone elsewhere from the beginning. Very frustrated and disappointed."
