"This place calls you the day before an appointment to inform you that you need a referral. The insurance company does not verify insurance until the day prior. Bad for business! Now how on earth can my doctor write a referral without proper advance notice?"

"I made a call today for confirming an appointment time for my son and also for a new appointment for my daughter. The receiver was a lady who picked up my call. First I confirmed my appointment then I requested for a new appointment in the same date and time. She put me on hold for few minutes and when she came back she replied me that she can give me an appointment at 2.30pm. Since the both kids attending in a same school and their school will break at 2.40 pm, so I requested her can she make the both appointments in a same time or 15 mins after or before of the previous appointment. She replied me” the doctor will leave at 3.30 pm she can’t change her office schedule for your daughter.” Is this a way a a receptionist should answer to the client? Or she was instructed to speak like this? If she doesn’t know how to give the services then she needs training? Or if you can’t provide training to the lady then May be you need to replace her position by someone else!!!"
