"Hello, I would certainly like to submit my comments regarding my meeting with Dr. Nahid . I had to visit her in relation to a serious depression condition of my friend. Dr. Nahid handled the matter very professionally. Cool, friendly, problem solving person. It is true that visiting to a good doctor removes half of your stress and disease and Dr. Nahid is one of the. Thanks"
"I have been seeing Dr.Naheed Akhtar for a good many months. I was in a very bad depression and extremely anxious. I was prescribed medication and treatment from her and I can honestly say, I feel 100% myself again. I would sincerely recommend this practice for anyone who is looking for a change and a better outlook on life. Thank you Dr."
"Very nice doctor. I’m getting treatment for my depression and my health has improved since I started visiting Dr Akhtar she’s one of the best doc."
"Beware: Dangerous, untrustworthy, irresponsible doctor that will eventually ghost her former patients. I felt a severe lack of compassion (I had just lost my job) → She carelessly lost old medical records from past appointments-- and even *pretended* like *she did not remember me* as a patient before (-- if she did indeed forget me, its even worse)."
"I just called for a consultation and I am just floored at how rude and careless the receptionist was. I don’t know how many receptionists there are but she was a woman, with a southasian accent. She cut me off and told me she doesn’t have time to speak to me because she had other calls coming in. I tried giving her more background info and ask more questions she dismissed me by suggesting I should look at other psychiatrists. When I asked if I can do a consultation with the doctor, she said that this call was actually the screening and her tone made me feel like I was wasting her time and she wanted to get off the call, so I mentioned the website stating the consultation would be for 15 minutes and with the doctor. It’s been so difficult to find a provider specifically a female Muslim one, so I finally asked if I can just make an appointment and she said I don’t know and then hung up on me. I don’t know what to say if this is the way mental health patients are spoken to. But I feel terrible after that exchange, I feel like she formed a bias against me and didn’t feel like listening to me."
