"I’ve been a member of NDI since I was 9 years old (I am now 13). NDI has taught me a lot more than just dance. They’ve taught me how to deal with different personalities, how to act in professional environments, how to make new friends, and lots and lots of discipline. NDI’s teaching artist and staff make me feel safe and at home every time I’m at the studio. NDI puts on amazing performances, teaches us dancers, and prepares us for our future on and off stage. NDI has really and truly become a 2nd home for me."
"NDI is the most amazing program. They teach all children of different abilities dance and movement. Choreographers from different genres teach the children not just dance moves but also confidence, power, and pride. My son has danced all over the city and even in the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving parade. The girls recently performed in the NBC live version of Annie! I am so happy and proud of the work they do."
"Its an appears to be a renovated decommissioned old elementary school that appears to have huge Mansion like apartments above and a dance institute below. Very private, but very well done. Great place to visit."
"My wife worked for NDI in the late 80s & early 90s, and we have been supporters ever since. No organization I know spreads as much joy and love, and none accomplishes it's mission so well."
"Great program for disabled kids dancing with able bodied kids. Not a dry eye in the house. 2 times a year, dancers, physical therapists and disabled kids perform their hearts out. Great experience."
