"We recently switched our children to Derby Pediatrics and could not be happier. Unlike the practice we came from, Dr. Mulawka and his team are truly welcoming, respectful, and informative. Questions and concerns were addressed with kindness and respect--not just brushed off. Our kids walked away from their first appointment with smiles on their faces and a willingness to return. Actually, I think they'd hang out with Nurse Melissa all day if they could! The process of switching practices couldn't have been any easier, and when I visited the office before switching Dr. Mulawka really took his time answering questions and sharing the ins-and-outs of his practice. My 8 year old loves coming to see Dr. Mulawka and he has always been so patient and caring with all 3 of my kiddos. My favorite thing about this office is you are not just a number to them, I'm sure they see multiple patients but they have always known my children the second they walk in the door before we even check in! I love that the entire feel of the place is very welcoming and my kids are not afraid of going to the doctors. When I tell them they have a doctor appointment they get excited! "I always have had a great experience when I go into the derby office! The receptionist is always friendly && helpful. Every time I have needed forms filled out or needed something it is always done in a timely manner. The nurses are great, always checking up after calling the answering service to how my son is doing. All the providers in the office have always been great with my son. I would recommend this practice to any expecting momma or someone looking for a new doctor!"

"I have been taking my daughter here ever since she was born and I have never had an issue. When I go in they make me feel welcome. They are excellent with my daughter, always making her smile, they seem excited to see her and excited to do their job and have been very understanding when you cancel your appointment last minute. Or when they know you have a hard time with transportation. Everyone I have dealt with at the office has been a very kid friendly. My daughters doctor is Dr. Malacca (not sure if this is the right spelling) (sorry) but even when he does not see my daughter there is no issues with anyone else that would help out as a replacement if he is not working or unavailable or something. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks where to go. And me and my daughter will keep going back as long as we are welcome to or as long as I live somewhere within an hour away drive time.
