"ABSOLUTELY ARROGANT and UNPROFESSIONAL!! I had a 1;00pm appt and left work at 12:30 for a 15 minute drive...planning on being early. All my paperwork and everything I was told to bring I had. I hit bumper to bumper traffic on 690E because of the Midler Rd. Bridge so I was just on time...or may be a few minutes late. As I was signing the last piece of paperwork with the receptionist a nurse called my name. I went to go meet her at the door and she was gone...I proceeded to sit in the waiting room and watch EVERY person that was in the waiting room called and two additional people that had come in well after me get called. I ended up in an empty waiting room 40 minutes later and when I asked a nurse how long she told me she didn't know because" she wasn't the nurse that called me". Immediately after that the nurse that had originally called my name came out and called my name..when I asked her why it had taken so long after she had called my name she informed that I had been late. Now, she saw me and knew I was signing paperwork and she couldn't wait for a couple of minutes? When I told her that was rude she got nasty insisting that I was late, even though I was right there when she called my name and she knew it-she made eye contact with me! She ended up going back inter the inner office, so I went over to the receptionist to reschedule my appointment because I was on my lunch she came over to the receptionist and told her that the doctor didn't want me to come back and to not reschedule my appointment. I understand that medical offices are under a lot of stress and the reception area was warm and the receptionists were warm and welcoming the whole experience was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! I have never had any treatment like that in any medical facility my whole life. If you're looking for compassion and decent treatment go anywhere else - the dismissive, nasty and arrogant treatment is something that no one should experience."
"It’s been a year since my shot! Still feeling good! Great staff and pleased with the care of the doctor!"
"Extremely disappointed with this entire practice. I came to them at a breaking point of pain, 1.5 years after a car accident after trying to manage my daily suffering on my own for the last year. Their lack of empathy, concern, and complete disregard for my sustained injuries and continuous pain is truly abhorrent. I have been seen by multiple medical professionals here, prescribed new medications every week and sent in for nerve block shots that only made my situation worse. I feel like a Guinea pig with their “new policies” and am sincerely afraid for other patients like me who expect to be able to rely on their doctors for help — but instead have been treated with considerable disrespect and judgment, while making zero progress on increasing my quality of life day to day. The kicker? I was diagnosed with PTSD post accident, and I get to relive the gory details in every office visit and with every phone call because I’m constantly being seen by someone who doesn’t read my chart and take the time to get to know me and my story. I have done everything they’ve asked me to, and I still get to struggle to complete my daily tasks, while running a business and trying to stay healthy and active because they refuse to listen to the solutions I’ve offered that I know have helped in the past. I would have been better off managing my care plan for physical rehabilitation by myself."
"My wife was a patient at New York Spine and Wellness since 2010, this week she was terminated as a patient because she questioned a change in the dosage of a medication that WAS NOT discussed with her by the Np she saw. Multiple times she asked for a call to discuss the changes and only received passive aggressive replies from the triage nurse manager. The NP has reduced the dosage by 1/2 but what wasn’t revealed was that he adjusted the amount that could be taken to 1 to 2 pills which would correct the concern. Unfortunately instead of actually talking to a patient that is concerned about their care they chose to terminate the care. I tried calling today to see if I could speak with someone above the NP and was told that was as high as I could go. My wife has followed every protocol they required including urinalysis just about every other time she walks in the office. she has tried most every treatment offered with varying degrees of effectiveness. She even volunteered time to drive 45 minutes from home to speak with patients considering Spinal Cord Stimulators to answer questions about her experience. ABSOLUTELY WOULD NO LONGER RECOMMEND!!!"
"This place is great. Zory is always friendly and just the whole staff and check in experience is great. You can check in at a kiosk or if you don’t feel comfortable you can check in with staff. They are very clean and organized and if you have actual pain they try to help as best they can before suggesting narcotics and if you need surgery you couldn’t be in better hands."
