"After having a nightmare experience with my previous OB, I switched to Samaritan OB at 28 weeks. From the friendly receptionists, to the upbeat nurse, and then the doctor who felt like talking to a human and not a brick wall like my previous provider, my experience was fantastic. I had been going unheard for so long and had been mistreated by my previous provider and Dr. Gottesman really put me at ease and explained things to me instead of simply saying “do this because I said to do it”. I even had a complaint about neck and upper back pain/tension and asked if that was normal, and she said it is but referred me to see a chiropractor for some relief. "Since I was 19 I have had four different OB GYNs. Each time I experienced condescension, disregard for my concerns, and poor medical care. When we started planning our pregnancy I wanted a doctor and a team that would support me and respect me. Dr Gottesman and Nurse Dzingle have been excellent! Both have been receptive and respectful, never pushing me into something I'm against or undermining my concerns. The patient portal has been a great tool for me to reach out to them with any questions or concerns and they are very prompt about responding to my inquiries. We are a few months still from delivery, but I am happy to say I have finally found a OB GYN team that I feel safe and comfortable with. These two get 5 stars. Now if the front staff could get on the ball with proper mask technique. hence the four star rating."
