"I’m a patient of Dr. Saxena and switched to this practice two years ago, best decision I’ve ever made. Dr. Saxena and her staff are very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Dr. Saxena always listens and addresses all my problems and concerns. Excellent practice and staff. Thank you for everything you do."
"Disclosure: I am currently a 4th year medical student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed three different clinical rotations with Dr. Jennifer Tibbens for a total of 12 weeks. She is completely responsible for determining the grade and feedback I received for those 12 weeks. I attest that my opinion of her as a Family Medicine Physician is in no way altered based on her clinical judgement of my performance. I also attest that she had no role in me writing this review, nor was she aware in any capacity that I was going to write this prior to doing so. Review: (If you are going to read this, read it all) As a medical student; you are taught exactly how medicine should performed, the standard of questions to ask a patient about their acute and chronic medical conditions, and what an ideal physical exam should look like for every single patient. You are taught exactly what screenings and when to perform them such as colonoscopies or low dose CT screens for smokers. You are taught how to show empathy in a multitude of circumstances and situations. To summarize my pervious statements, we are taught exactly how medicine should be practiced in a perfect world, i.e., the standard of care each person should be entitled to receive. Some physicians as they progress in their career can cut corners, and then you have physicians like Dr. Tibbens who consistently go above and beyond the standard of care. Over the course of 12 weeks, I saw roughly 300 patients together with Dr. Tibbens. Every single patient had their acute medical conditions, chronic medical conditions, screenings, vaccinations, and about anything else you can think of addressed. Not once did I see her cut a single corner. As a patient once she enters the room every question and concern you have will be addressed before she dismisses you from your appointment. Often times patients will be finishing up an appointment and the phrase ,” Oh by the way, my blank has been bothering me.” She always takes the extra time to address the “oh by the ways” and never says we can talk about that next time. I have two parents who are getting ever closer to their 70s. They are planning to relocate to this area in the coming years. When they do, I will be making sure they establish their care with Dr. Jennifer Tibbens. As a student, soon to be practicing physician, If I trust her with the care of my parents, you can feel reassured with the quality and compassion of care you are receiving with Dr. Tibbens. She is what other doctor’s like to call a “Physician’s physician”, She is the type of doctor other doctors trust their health care to."
"Always found Dr Saxena and her staff to be very helpful and professional. They have always responded to my requests and questions. Dr Saxena is very knowledgeable and thorough. Always ready to listen and follow up. She really cares. Referred my husband and daughters"
"If I could give negative stars I would. My father has struggled needlessly for months because Dr. Jennifer would not listen to my concerns. My father has a heart condition that causes severe breathing problems. He also has Muscular Dystrophy and is over weight because he cannot function well. Jennifer does not do what I ask her to do. The family that sees him everyday and knows things are not right are the ones who know more needs to be done. I am the one who switched him from his doctor to her. Hoping she would find the cause. Her assistants are rude. She refuses to call me. I had to take my father to Immediate care to get diagnosed for pneumonia. He had an X-ray. I researched and several people have died or been misdiagnosed when they have cancer. I asked Jennifer to do a CT Scan with contrast to eliminate any lung issues and she refused and said the insurance wouldn’t cover it. I called the insurance company and they said it is covered. I had a dream that night my father collapsed and I told him help is on the way. Monday I got an appt to see a pulmonary specialist the next day. She ruled out copd. His breathing test was horrible absolutely abnormal. She did an X-ray and the fluid had not changed but his breathing was 10 x worse. She concluded it was his calcified aorta valve leaking. I immediately made an appointment with his cardiologist. I couldn’t get Jennifer to call me regarding my father’s medical concerns but she called my father this morning to tell him to tell me not to call her office or come to his office visits. Needless to say I canceled his next appointment. Jennifer failed my father and had caused unnecessary time off work, stress, illness and inconvience for my father and his family."
"I recently switched to this office after moving to the area. I have been seen there twice by dr saxena. Both times I've been there, she was very cold towards me and blew off my symptoms that I was telling her about. She even went as far as telling me that my pain "wasn't that bad". She didn't order any blood work for me because she said that I had some done a few months ago and THAT blood work was fine. I felt like I was being rushed out of the office. This is the worst office that I have ever been to."
