"My family and I are long-standing supporters of Spanish Immersion Workshop. Our 3 children attended the school. Our eldest child who is now 12 years old, started out in the Dix Hills location when she was 2 years old. She is fluent in Spanish and is now taking advance Native Spanish in her current Middle School. My youngest is currently attending SIW in the Garden City location and she was singing songs and repeating Spanish words very soon after she started. The teachers are very caring, nurturing and take great care with the child’s needs. The school really put a lot of training and preparation into lessons. The language is used from the moment of dropping the child off and continues until you pick up your child. This environment is great for encouraging fluency in Spanish. My children have gained friends from wide variety of cultures through their exposure to the language and they use the language when we go out to restaurants or other local cultural events. My proudest moments as a mom is hearing my 12 year old speak Spanish with her peers."
