"I had extremely high hopes for thinkers of Tomorrow. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this daycare to any mothers or families in the Far Rockaway area. The owner Christina is very unprofessional and can be very combative when approached about issues that has occurred . For instance, I had to keep saying something to Mrs Christina about properly strapping my daughter into a car seat when transporting her. The first time I mentioned it to her, she said that she was tired, and that she forgot. The moment we had that conversation, I knew that I should have instantly opted out of transportation, but unfortunately the daycare is pretty far from me and I wanted to give her a fair chance. The second time that I had mentioned it to her, she denied that it ever happened. The next incident became an issue with her not liking my car seat. I have the Donna/car seat stroller that has been very convenient for me as far as traveling goes. In the very beginning she never complaint, but then weeks later, she started to say how her husband didn’t like it and it was messing up his car. It went from her husband, not liking the car seat to her not liking it. She claims that there was mud all over her seat at one point and how my daughter stroller is unsanitary and I can’t use it. After we went back-and-forth about it, she decided to tell me that I wasn’t even nice enough to offer to pay to get her car cleaned. She tried to tell me that it was more than $40 to get her car clean so I explained to her that I am on a very fixed income right now and I can’t afford to be dishing out extra money. I personally never seen the mud on her seat, but she claims it was all over the place. I tried to help with a solution by offering to buy a car seat cover and also provide cleaning products but that was not good enough, she still made a big deal about it. Another incident was about my work schedule. When I first went to thinkers of tomorrow, to have an interview with Mrs Christina. I flat out told her that my work schedule runs a little later then normal. Upon making a schedule with her, I made sure that everyone was on the same page and she said “Yes that’s fine, I wanna help as much as I can”. She went from being okay with my work schedule to constantly complaining and making me feel uncomfortable. What I didn’t understand was that she said “ I’m not a morning person and I’m not a night person” which confuse the hell out of me. I told her from the very beginning if she cannot accommodate me, I would understand but she kept switching up, and not being very honest about anything. Mrs Christina has mentioned other parents not bringing stuff for their kids, and complaining about them, but after a month and a half of my child being there, I know it’s definitely something about her and why she is having so much issues.What made me really write this review, is that I don’t want any body to go through what I just went through. Save yourself the headache and find a family member or go to another place!"
