"The food is delicious and service is fine. The room is very nice. Cocktails are good but, prices are punishingly high for the puny portion sizes. Mexican Gourmet Style if that experience is about, it meets your expectation, however I prefer to savor traditional dishes with authentic flavor of the country of origin, this type of dishes are not presented in traditional Mexican cuisine, it is an extraordinary composition of talent and imagination."
"Our experience at Sol Mexican Food was a delightful journey through vibrant flavors and refreshing beverages. The frozen margaritas were a definite highlight, offering a perfect blend of sweetness and tanginess that set the tone for the evening. The guacamole, while enjoyable, left us wanting more due to its relatively small portion size. The flavors were on point, but a bit more generous serving would have enhanced the overall satisfaction. Moving on to the tacos, they were a true treat for the taste buds—nicely seasoned and undeniably tasty. Each bite carried a burst of flavors that showcased the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. The variety and quality of ingredients in the tacos were commendable. The burrito bowl was a standout dish, both delicious and satisfyingly filling. The amalgamation of ingredients created a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, making it a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant. It offered a wholesome and hearty experience that resonated with the essence of Mexican comfort food. The service at Sol Mexican Food was a noteworthy aspect of our dining experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere. Their promptness and willingness to accommodate requests added to the enjoyment of our time at the restaurant."
"Had made reservations for noon for a table of six, and we got the booth seating which was perfect for two little ones in our group. Amazing ambiance, excellent set-up, bright interiors and a very warm and welcoming staff who straight away got us started with some complimentary chips which were also well seasoned with some spice! We ordered from the brunch menu, but were also offered their daily menu on a weekend. Their brunch menu looked light (almost non-existent) on vegetarian dishes, but when I ordered my Breakfast Burrito ($22) and requested eggs to be taken off, our server was kind enough to check with the chef and offered a replacement with some well seasoned and tasty grilled mushroom. That definitely elevated my breakfast burrito. We had also ordered a few cocktails, which included a Michelada ($13) which was served in a giant glass to accommodate ice (which I did not quite like the way it was served). I also got a La Marian & El Don ($18) which was ok. Food however was excellent and service was absolutely fantastic. Noise levels were on the lower end and I felt pricing was reasonable for the area/location. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely visit again soon!"
"Stopped by for brunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the service! The gentleman who took us to our table gave us some great recommendations (including the watermelon margarita), and the server provided us with an overview of the salsas. The chilaquiles was ok, but the machacas was AMAZING!!! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy some heat a good red sauce!"
