"I am so thankful for finding Dr. Waldman. I have struggled with plantar fasciitis terribly for quite a few years now on and off. I had went to a previous Dr. who had not listened to me or even bothered to take X-rays of my feet, and just gave me shots of cortisone. After a few days my pain intensified in one foot to where I could hardly walk at all without horrible pain, and when I called to let them know I was basically ignored and offered pain meds. I knew I had to find a different Dr. I then happened to find Dr. Waldman in Asheville. Mrs. Amanda set up my appointment and was just so pleasant to deal with over the phone. I was already impressed and put totally at ease with her friendliness and care. She was so considerate of the time I was able to come in since I was coming from over an hour away. Dr. Waldman has been the first Dr. to actually listen to me and provided such a fantastic level of care that you really don’t see much of anymore with Doctors. He listened when I told him my backstory and that I was in terrible pain. He was able to take X-rays as well as an ultrasound that showed I had a torn foot ligament. From there he gave me a course of action we could take that would help give me the best relief in the quickest way possible. I had some more shots (not cortisone) that helped with the immediate relief of my pain and also a course of laser therapy treatment. Now I was kinda iffy about doing the laser therapy at first because it seems like nothing is really happening. But when I tell you I could see and feel a difference within the first three sessions, I’m not kidding. It helped immensely with providing me a quicker recovery. I was also fitted for custom insoles that I wear now everyday to help provide support as I walk and stand. They are a game changer! I was still out of work for quite a while because healing does take time, but Dr. Waldman and Mrs. Amanda were super helpful with all the paperwork I had to submit for my job. Mrs. Amanda helped me so much with emailing information, and it was stuff I could have never done easily on my own. She and Dr. Waldman made the process so much easier. They always worked with me on appointment times since I was traveling from so far away. I am now a couple months past my release date and my feet are so much better. I can walk and stand all day long at work with very minimal pain or discomfort. This was not even an option before I found Dr. Waldman! I couldn’t stand for 15 minutes without being in awful stinging, aching pain. It made my days pure torture. I am and will always take better care of my feet from now on. I’m so thankful Dr. Waldman took the time to really listen to me and I have him to thank for helping me so much! I’m also so grateful to Mrs. Amanda who helped ease my mind with her cheerfulness and understanding. Their compassion and commitment to their patients is of the highest quality and care you will ever receive. Every patient is important to them and I highly recommend them if you are needing any manner of treatment or care with your feet. They are the only ones I will ever go back to if or when I need foot care again. Thank you both so very much!"
