Also told another girl in my ward who has hallucinations that she was “just seeing things”, refused to listen to any of her patients and even insisted that she knew more about how we were feeling than we did. Shes very unprofessional and needs to be investigated because shes not a good person, or psychiatrist."

"I wish I could give 0 Stars , So RUDE !!! prescribes Medications for Kids, tells you that they must take them. Only thing is she doesn't do her part to sign off on them so insurance will pay, it's been almost a week, still hasn't signed off on the medication. So we are back at square one needing help for our teen because our teen can't get the medication they need. Just proves that Winston-Salem has no good help for teens struggling with Mental Health Issues. Never send your Teen or any Loved one to Old Vineyard Behavioral Health that's where she is, and they don't care either."

"Dr. Thotakura treated my son as an inpatient when he was 12. She never once spoke to me or my wife. I think it is just about immoral to treat a child and not speak to the parents. She also did not see him daily in the hospital but billed as though she did. I wish it were possible to rate her with zero stars. I contested the charges. Dr. Thotakura has been more diligent in making sure she collects her money than she ever was in providing the care for which she charges."
