"I had surgery about 7 weeks ago from the beginning I was assured that I would be taken care of, and I felt safe up until the day after Surgery I was due to be discharged, but I still had a nerve block and was not comfortable going home. Not knowing the level of pain I will be in. I had one doctor come in and tell me that I will stay in the hospital until . The nerve block wore off and after it wore off and I wasn’t comfortable going home that I will spend another night I was approached by two resident doctors which of one stated because I was on Medicaid that I would have to be discharged because it wouldn’t cover another night. What does my insurance have to do with me spending the night in the hospital when we know that healthcare in the hospital is free to anyone that requires medical service so upon going through the hospital staff speaking to multiple doctors having to get patient services to advocate for me I was able to spend another night when I feel like I should have never had to go through that after surgery . I followed up with my appointments with Dr. Eaton and staff the girls are amazing. Although I feel as though my recovery has been rushed I was told because of my insurance once again that I was unable to get a stronger medication because my insurance will not cover it. It does not make any sense even though my insurance doesn’t cover it and you see fit for me to have the appropriate medicine, it should have been offered to be paid for out-of-pocket, I broke my foot ankle in about five different places. I have a lot of hardware in my leg now as a resort I also feel as though my recovery time was rushed at three weeks I was told I would not be getting any more medication and that I would have to get referred to pain management if I needed any more medicine after I have been taken out of work for six months to recover for this injury , this has been one of the hardest challenge in things that I’ve ever had to go through in my life. I’ve never been a type of person to take medication not even for a headache, and now that I’ve been put in a position where I have no choice I don’t even have the doctor to support me or even talk to me about the different options until they just felt like my pain level threshold was appropriate to just take me off of pain medicine and not substitute my pain medicine for anything else not even muscle relaxers. I just feel like that it’s really crazy. I feel very disappointed , as though I stated in the beginning that I was told that I will be taken care of I’ve never heard of anything less than six weeks for recovery time and then I have to go through physical therapy as well with no pain medication I have not had any sleep since surgery and it happens at night very bad pain that I’m still experiencing. I would hope that as a patient and a concern staff that you guys would advocate for your patients because without us there’s no one even obtaining employment. I did not expect to break my leg. This is not something that I thought would ever happen to me in my life, but this is the reason why we have podiatrist people that we put our trust in to help us get better in our time of need"
"I'm having the most horrible experience. I'm having a lot of pain today is Friday the 29 of December I've been trying to get my prescription since wednesday I've been calling them everyday I've even called them this morning and they told me the doctor and his assistant was on it and was going to call the pharmacy its three o'clock and no prescription now I have to wait until Tuesday the second or go to the emergency .I don't need to be in no emergency room with a swollen foot and where every body is sick"
"I am Patricia Martin, the patient. Mr Kight is my husband. The man who answered the phone and made my appointment was extremely rude!!! Perhaps he should remember that it is the patients that give him a job."
"I would recommend this place to anyone, because the staff that Dr. Carter were very pleasant and nice. Dr. Carter did my surgery on Tuesday morning and told we exactly what to expect after the surgery and that meant a lot to me.. He showed compassion and was very upfront with me about the whole procedure. Thank you Dr. Carter your team was awesome and took good care of me before and after my foot surgery.."
"Dr. Mark Eaton deserves even more than 5 stars! I broke my foot over the weekend. His office was able to fit me in this morning. Rhonda, Corrina and Dr. Eaton gave me the utmost care. I was checked in, examined, X-rayed, evaluated and booted within less than an hour. I truly have never been given such wonderful care. The staff and Doctor were all extremely knowledgeable and took their time explaining everything to me. Thank you so much Dr. Eaton and staff!"
