"1/25/24. The clinic allegedly communicates using MyChart (My UNC Chart). However, the clinic sends messages about an upcoming appointment, e-check in, etc., but sets all of the messages so the patient cannot send a reply. Furthermore, they will not let the patient send a message to the clinic/provider if it's been over some period of time since the last appointment. When you call the scheduler, they transfer you to the nurse line. No one answers that line, the automated message is from the MLK holiday (12-days ago), and the voice-mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. The automated message says you might not receive a reply anyway for 1-3 days. The entire system is designed to prevent patient communication."
"Trying to reach a doctor or their nurses is nearly impossible front desk staff don’t care to help and know absolutely nothing about the unc my chart app not to mention the app is horrible you don’t even get the option to choose a username so how can u even log in no help at all over the phone only reason I gave it 2 stars is when we talked to our doctor he seemed like a good mannered person that wanted to help he’s the only persone that kept this rating from being a one star"
"I went to the spine center for bad pain in my.back and already had had a MRI. I also knew I had arthritis in my spine and back. I saw Dr Bartello and later Dr Ingraham for a steroid shot in my back. He was very professional and took time to talk with me about my back. Unfortunately the shot did not help much. I went back to Bartello and was having pain in my wrist also. I told her I would make an appointment for a scan elsewhere but she offered to order it there. She continued to work with me and did blood work since I still wasn’t feeling any better. She got me a quick appointment at the Rheumatology Clinic after seeing my bloodwork. I was diagnosed with a specific autoimmune disease and am so thankful for an accurate diagnosis. I m so thankful for her diligent work.Nannette Baker ."
"I have been going to see Dr. Lim for years and couldn't be more satisfied with the service I receive! They all know me by name no matter how long between visits. I have spinal stenosis with cervical myelopathy and have had to have 4 surgeries to try and prevent paralysis. There has never been one complication during or after surgery and my pain has been kept very well controlled. The nurse is always very prompt in returning my calls if I leave a message and have a question. Dr.Lim has even called me back to discuss any concerns I may have had. I have recommended their service to everyone I know needing their services. From the beginning of my appointment to the end of my appointment I'm very pleased every time! I'll give their office a 10 every time! Great job Dr. Lim and staff!! Thanks a million for your care! It is obvious that y'all care about your patients!! Your the best! Elizabeth Brown"
"The explanation of my situation by Dr. Carneiro was competent (above average), but I also wasn't given much in terms of rehab advice. The reason for the negative review is that almost 7 years after my appointment, I am just now receiving a bill through collections, triggering a major derogatory incident on my credit. I would have happily paid to avoid this, but never received the bill in the 7 years since the appointment. I suppose it just got lost in their outbound mail."
