"Mastertech had our boat for 8 weeks. They told us it would take 2-3 weeks. It seems like they are understaff or there is poor delegation from management. They also were very poor in communication. We had to call to check in. They never called us on their own accord to let us know there was a delay. We were told several times "we will have it by the end of the week". It wasn't until we told them we were going to pick our boat up and take it somewhere else to be repaired then they had it ready within a week. I would not recommend going to them."

"After buying my boat, I called all over Raleigh and Wake Forest for a mechanic to keep it serviced. Each place I called could not work on either outboard or two cycle engines. I found Henry at Mastertech and learned that he'd been servicing my type of engine, (Johnson 88), for nearly 30 years. I've since been bringing my boat to him for three years and, knock on wood, have not had any issues other than routine maintenance. Henry is very knowledgeable and seems to know every little detail of my engine following the rest of the boat and trailer. He's also happy to give advice on any DIY projects that I can do myself. He has never tried to sell me overpriced parts that I may find cheaper at a Home Depot, either. I'm very happy with Mastertech Marine and will continue to bring my boat back every year."
