"Had a problem with a centerline undercounted dish washer, gave them a call, made it sound really good, the guy came in early, charged us $300 total a diagnosis of the situation, said it was a faulty door switch problem. Which sounds ok at first because there was a door error, but before that we never had a door error until the tech guy touch it, and found out of the wire for the door censor was suddenly removed and we had to reattach it ourselves. We mention to him what the problem was but it was but he never look for the issue that was mention which was a burnt smell and the machine over heating. They sent a quote a few days later total up to about $900 estimated for them to “fix” the faulty door switch which was never a problem in the first place and then to find out what else was wrong with it. They were basically paying $900 for them to fix a problem their tech created. We ended up fixing it ourselves from reading the manuals, turn out it was just a burn out wire from the over heat. Cost us $130 total instead of $900 plus whatever else they were gonna charge on top of that to potentially maybe find out what’s wrong and maybe fix it. We waited 2 weeks for them to not fix and it took us 2 days to order the part and fix it ourselves. Please be careful when order this service because the tech might cause more problems for you then you originally had."

"I was referred to Authorized Commercial Equipment Service by Kitchenaid for a minor repair on my mixer - I wish every service experience I have was as good as this one. They were very upfront about the estimate and potential issues they may run into. Very easy to communicate with and repaired my mixer sooner than quoted."

"As a Subway restaurant facilities manager I have used Authorized on multiple occasions over the past 5 years. Unfortunately they lost their most experienced bench tech to retirement and things have been a little "off" since then. Before their bench tech retired I could drop off a speedoven on Monday, he would have it diagnosed by Tuesday and repaired by Friday even if they had to order parts. Unfortunately the last time I dropped off a speedoven it took 5 weeks before the repair was completed and unfortunately the tech they pulled from the field did the repair incorrectly. Their Service manager "Brittany" was great to work with and attempted to have a tech stop by our store in Morganton which is about 1.5 hours away to complete the repair, unfortunately she could not make that happen and I had to drive the speedoven back myself. I waited for the speedoven to be repaired and then drove it back to our store which ended up costing the owner an additional $121 added to the original bill in time and gas all due to their mistake. Brittany assured me they are working on the tech issue and I look forward to updating this review in the future with a much more positive report. If anyone at Authorized is reading this I would love to get a $121 store credit towards our next repair! *****UPDATE****** Received a call from back from Authorized due to this review and was informed they now have a new in-house tech with almost as much experience as the one they lost to retirement! Looking forward again to doing business with this company!!"

"If I could leave no stars I would. I was told what the trip charge was so the tech came out, but i had to call him back from the parking lot cause he didnt know the thermostat was not right. Never checked! Quoted me 275 for the part and said there would be no charge for the returning trip to fix it. I was told the whole bill would be $800!! REALLY?? I called up and they told me there is a 2nd trip charge that tech was wrong. Now they would have charged me 735!. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!! NO THANK YOU!!"
