"I just had my bi-salp procedure done there and despite being unmarried and childfree (not that it matters) every person I came into contact with treated me with the utmost dignity, respect, professionalism, and kindness. The building was quiet and clean and I felt very safe there. All my needs were attended to and I am healing well. Thank you!"

"I haven’t even got the chance to officially send out cards to the Emory labor and delivery team but I wanted to thank everyone in labor and delivery for taking care of me and my baby while in this hospital. I didn’t want to come to this hospital because it was further from where I live but I’m glad we did. Thankfully I end up getting induced so I wasn’t rushing up here or in active labor. From the time, I got there to the time I left. Everyone was pretty nice. Some of the nurses did a little too much but overall they took good care of me post baby and after baby. I end up delivering a healthy beautiful baby boy whose now 6 months old. Thank you EMORY!!!! Lauren Vanessa Dixie Alyssa Big shoutout to my OBGYN Atlanta OBGYN Lilburn because they definitely took care of me during my prenatal care and I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time since this was my first time ever being pregnant. "For the most part I had an amazingly wonderful experience here back in February. It sucks they don’t give you footprints anymore. But from the pre-op staff to the surgery staff to the recovery staff —excellent! Some names that stuck out for me were Lisa (anesthesiologist assistant I believe), Kristin and Susannah (overnight RNs—sweetest nurses in the history of nurses. I mean I felt like they cared!!!), Abigail (daytime RN-more direct but she was sweet and was getting things done!!), Dr. Smith (nicest pediatrician ever), and Willane and Esther (OR nurses)! My anesthesiologist was cool/calming/funny and the surgery assistant (but I can’t remember their names)! Darlene (daytime nurse) she was ok, not as attentive as my other 3 nurses and forgetful. I felt like she was overwhelmed. The young lady who was bringing my food was very sweet. My first two lactation nurses were so kind and gentle, the last one seemed aggressive and weird. Didn’t call her back. I had one bad experience when I threw up all over myself and I/my mom tried calling the nurse phone and whoever the nurse was that answered was SO rude. I think she was my charge nurse the first night post c-section. She was like “call your nurse/this line isn’t for that” even though Abigail said I could use that line. But I mean considering the circumstances, lady I have vomit everywhere just get someone in here to help me. Get off your a** and help! My mom said one nurse rubbed her the wrong way because she came in and was just staring at my son then when my mom looked up from her sleep the girl just took off. I think it was all poor timing but I never felt unsafe .. that was maybe Giovanni? Otherwise, I really don’t have any real complaints. Food was decent, meds were coming regularly and I felt comfortable. Sorry to any names I butchered. Oh discharge took forever but I’m glad to be home! Thank you all and keep up the great work!"
