"Owner of this barbershop hired the laziest barbers around. I came in & sat down for about 30min while people who arrived after me came in, got their cuts & left. I decided to just leave & try another shop. It’s difficult to support black businesses that don’t prioritize customer service. The berbers are more concerned with socializing & hanging out than they are with cutting hair."

"I walked in and waited 2 hours to be told to come tomorrow and they had me schedule an appointment early, making me the first. I came the following day. Someone had their hair being cut. Barber finished, told me to wait another hour half while he went outside to chat with people. I left… the other barbers told me wait he’ll be back soon. Man I left."
"Haven't been inside of a barbershop since the 1970s whatever!?? I noticed this barbershop about a few months ago, and I said to myself, if I ever wanted to go and get a haircut and the works? This would be the best place. So I went there and got taken care of, I really didn't have in mind of just what I wanted, I explained my situation to the Barber, he suggested to me several options and we went from there. What was that one thing that made noticed this particular barbershop? It didn't have that seemingly overcrowding appeal... I mean, I think all Barbershops would love to have an over abundance of customers ... but you know what I mean!"
"Nostrand Elite Barbershop is a professional and kid friendly environment. My girls get their hair braided by Takisha and it's always a wonderful experience when I go to the shop. They even go as far as putting on kid friendly shows on the television. As for the haircuts everyone that comes leaves looking SHARP. Thank you Nostrand Elite for your wonderful customer service and atmosphere."
