"I went to see Sophia today - she was excellent, but I can’t give 5 stars solely because of the price. I asked for a medium skin fade, which she did with clippers. Never seen that before, but she performed wonderfully. I also wanted a beard trim with a straight edged line. She did so, fantastically. Overall, she was clean, thorough, and personal. Top marks there. The establishment was also very nicely kept, and the music being played was neutral and pleasant (albeit modern). So, the price: If you just want a haircut, it’s $30. Not awful, but the problems started when it came to beard trimming. A regular trim with clippers is another $15, but if you opt for a trim and full shape with a straight edge, the extra charge is an eye-watering $30, bringing you to a grand total of $60 with a haircut. I’m sorry, but for a place that offers shampoos for $5 and shape-ups for $10, a $30 up-charge for a proper beard service on someone already paying for a haircut seems a bit steep."
