Reviews
"What a lovely amphitheater. I saw the Montford Park Players perform Shakespeare’s 12th Night. Good acoustics. Pastoral setting. Clean washrooms. Concession carts. No bad vantage-points."
"Had a wonderful night seeing Animal Collective perform in this cozy, lush amphitheater. A quaint treasure of a venue! Very happy that the 3 of us caught that show...sweet memories!"
"Show was incredible. Saw Charley Crockett and Jesse Daniel. The atmosphere of the ampitheatre after dark was so so amazing. Was a blast to sit on a blanket in the grass and enjoy a show. Very affordable as well. Only a few drawbacks; there was a ton of beer and drinking going on, I don't really mind it, I don't drink myself but it doesn't bother me either, I just know there are some people who wouldn't like that and wanted to make it known. Another drawback was that the staff seemed a bit frantic and out of order. Overall was fantastic though and well worth the little inconveniences."
"Went and saw “Comedy of Errors” and had a great time! Such a neat and fun environment. This was an absolute experience and one I would definitely recommend. We reserved some chairs and had our spots marked for us. The theater works off of donations but don’t let that deceive you, they are well worth the visit. Had a great time and will soon be returning."
"Usually, it's a wonderful open-air Shakespearean theater. but they are letting the International Folk Dancers of Asheville use it so we can dance together outside, for the first time since then Pandemic came!"
