Reviews of MáLà Project
"I’ve wanting to visit this restaurant for so long and I finally did with a friend! I’m HOOKED ever since!!! All I want is this addictive spicy food with rice, all day every day!!! Lunch specials will save you a few dollars, but only have a few options and you cannot swap any ingredients. Make your own will cost more but after a few visits, you would want to create your own. I also ordered delivery today, but it’s not the same to eat at the restaurant, so if you can go visit!!! Lots of people there eating alone, don’t be embarrassed!"
"We ordered the dandan noodle and gone fishing dry pot among others; totally LOVED it! The mala has the right level of spiciness for us. Spent about $20 pp for lunch, which I'd say amazing price for NY. Will be back!"
"Absolutely amazing. I have had such a perfectly balanced mala dish since I got back from SE Asia. The heat is not overpowering, even at the spiciest levels, but it will seep into your brain and leave you deliciously delirious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."
"Love coming here. The first time was just to meet someone for drinks and apps which were good. The second and third time was for the dry pot and it did not disappoint. I prefer the mild spice because I like to taste my food but if you like super hot, this is your place. The cod, frog legs and glass noodles are a must for the pot. I personally also love the enoki mushrooms. Definitely bring friends to share and try a little of everything. All of the desserts are great, you can't go wrong. Jelly for something light in case you're too full. Wait staff is always so pleasant and attentive. Love coming here and bringing friends visiting from out of town."
"I'm absolutely delighted to have discovered this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming service set the tone for a truly positive experience. The extensive variety of dry pot options was impressive, and their incredible flavors left me wanting more. The dessert was an absolute delight as well. Without a doubt, I intend to become a regular customer of this establishment."
