"I purchased the Broken Sprocket Proprietary wiring harness kit to convert my 2000 Road King from fuel injection to carburetor. David shipped the kit fast and was quick to answer a couple of questions regarding the conversion. Highly recommend this kit. Great customer service!"
"Brought my bike in for new tires, seat, sissy bar and tune up. Paid for storage for the winter as well. (1900 total) Owner (Dave) was insistent I have the bike out of his shop the first week in May. I had to ride it from his Shop in East Aurora to the west side of Buffalo in steady rain with temperatures in the low 40s. Approximately 25 miles. Parked the bike in my yard and it sat until I rode with my wife on the back to Rochester. Approximately 35-40 miles into my ride I got a front flat at fifty miles an hour. Bike tracked forcibly into the opposite lane of traffic and put my wife and I in a ditch. I sustained a severe arm break and a dislocated wrist requiring surgery and my wife sustained a concussion, bulging disc and a severe bruised knee. We were lucky to be alive, although the hospital bills exceeded 15-20 grand. After inspection of the bike it was found that Dave installed an 18” tube on a 19” rim and installed an oversized tire. The rim was not cleaned before tube/ tire installation this caused the flat. Dave does not carry liability insurance on his shop so at this point I have to eat the costs of bike repair and medical costs. I do not recommend this shop as attention to detail is lacking and he does not carry insurance. I don’t think he did it purposely but it doesn’t matter since my wife and I could have died if the scenario was even a speck different."
"Dave's the man. Inspection done in minutes and was able to answer some questions I had. If ever need my bike serviced I'll be going to him for sure."
"Dave, the owner of Broken Sprocket, built my awesome motor and fixed a number of other things that went wrong with my motorcycle. I ordered a winter power package from S&S for my 04 dyna fxd, and after Dave installed it my bike IS SUPER FAST! If I could give him six stars I would. If you are on the fence about where to take your Harley for performance work, or just basic maintenance Broken Sprocket is THE SPOT!!! I will tell you why: Dave's customer service skills are exceptional. Poor customer service, cons, and rip offs are common in the motorcycle industry, but, Dave is as honest as they come. He responds to phone calls quickly and promptly. He goes out of his way for his customers too. In the middle of a blizzard, Dave strapped down my bike to a trailer. What a guy! He really went the extra mile for me. Dave is an expert. If it has a motor he can fix it, and he will make sure to do it right. I've seen everything in his shop from chainsaws to choppers. It doesn't matter how old or how broken, Dave can make it run. When Dave built my motor, he went out of his way to show me the internal parts and explain how they work. I got an education in Harley 101. He also gave me a number of options when it came to chopping my fender, which was greatly appreciated. Dave's custom bikes have been shown in major shows and he worked on my friend's flat track race team. In short, he knows his stuff. Dave does great work. The work Dave did to my bike was absolutely exceptional. My bike gallops like a whipped quarterhorse. It takes on any import and can run with the best of em. My friends ride BMW, Kawasaki, and many other high power imports. Dave's engine work left them saying "I've never seen a Harley so fast" and "I wish my bike sounded like that". Nothing was scratched or dented. Everything was done on time and done right. In sum, if you need a garage for your motorcycle, and you are tired of getting screwed, come see Dave at Broken Sprocket. He's awesome!!!!"
"Broken Sprocket Garage is my go-to motorcycle shop in the Buffalo area. I live in the city but always take the short drive to East Aurora to talk to David (owner) and get his expert opinion. This guy lives and breathes motorcycles and is truly passionate about what he does. You simply don't get that at some of the other places that I've been to. He is also very patient with the questions that I have for him, and always offers an affordable solution. If you live in the Buffalo or surrounding area, you're really missing out by not giving him a visit. He does everything from NYS motorcycle inspections, routine maintenance (such as oil changes), tire mounting, and he even rebuilt the top end of my Harley-Davidson motor last Winter by adding high compression pistons and a performance cam. BROKEN SPROCKET GARAGE is the best motorcycle repair and build shop in the Buffalo area."
