"Oil change and inspection. Oil change was fine, failed inspection, got it re inspected with a very reputable and professional mechanic and it passed. My gut told me not to get it inspected at Monroe but I was getting my oil changed so did it anyway. The tech went into my glove box for some reason and all of the items from my glove box were scattered on the floor??!! He said he went in my glove box " when he was doing the filter". ?? So they can't look it up on their computer about what filter is needed for my car? I wouldn't have cared so much if he placed the items back in my glove box. Rude! Very disappointed with Monroe as they don't seem experienced enough other than for oil changes. I will never go back and most definitely tell others to steer clear of this establishment."

"Being a mechanic of more than two decades and paranoid to let others touch my vehicles. While in town on vacation I walked in with no appointment to have some rims swapped. The service advisor was polite, calm and collected and was able to get my vehicle in for service in a timely manner. The Technician did an exceptional job with no special instruction. The work was done as if I did it myself, even clocking the centercaps to the valve stems (obsessive level of detail)! I can honestly say I had a great experience."

"I have always had good service at this Monro Auto Service location but the new crew (recently hired from another national chain) made a good experience an excellent one. They are friendly, honest and most importantly expert technicians. I had a problem of long standing that they diagnosed thoroughly (while waiting for confirmation from the expert mechanic, Jason) before beginning the costly repair (my own fault for procrastinating so long). The wonderful manager, Charles, was very understanding about my need to await another pay period or two before completing all the repairs and quickly helped prioritize what was urgent and what could be delayed for a few weeks. We have all experienced disruptions in the service industries in general as providers try to recover from the pandemic. We should celebrate when a company is fully staffing their locations with excellent technicians. Try the Monro Auto Service shop in East Aurora - you won't be disappointed."
