"CVS doesn't deserve 5 stars but the people who work at this location absolutely do. Special shout out to Andrew and Wendy, but truly every single team member cares about you and the importance of your medication. Very popular location and occasionally short staffed (not their fault, do better CVS) so sometimes there may be a bit of a wait, but any patience and respect you give is returned tenfold."
"Hours should be updated. It’s been altered for the last few months. Current as of Jan 2024"
"This location engages in corporate extortion repeatedly. Never mind the gross incompetence at every CVS Pharmacy. Twice recently, I've attempted to have a migraine prevention injection filled that has a program through the manufacturer to bring the price to $0 for those with commercial insurance. Twice at this location, they have attempted to charge me an insane co-pay of $65 when my price is $0. I point this out, the Pharmacist who is more concerned about texting people for personal items which sounded like after work hangouts he was discussing with a female pharm tech advises the Payment program from the manufacturer will not apply and my cost is $65. I advised the program is still valid, will renew in January, I paid nothing last month, have never paid any co-pay and I need this medication today as I've been waiting for a week due to another incompetent CVS location failing to fill and order this medication, though couldn't be bothered to do so. The pharmacist quickly asks if I want to pay the $65. I advise no way, not being extorted, by CVS, I didn't pay a penny last month, the program is valid, figure it out as that is your job as a Pharmacist. I'm handed a piece of paper to call to figure this out myself. I push back saying I'm not making calls and using my brain to teach you how to do your job. The pharmacist looks at me with no plans of assisting (though a sad look on his face as if he cares for about five seconds) walking away to do other things. I call the number on the piece of paper. The number of the piece of paper is for pharmacists only and not for patients, so the number this clown gave me won't engage me with me as I'm not a pharmacist last I checked unless I became a PharmD overnight without any effort, qualification, or memory of such achievement... At this point, I crumple the paper and throw it back to pharmacist enraged. Mind you, this is the experience at CVS no matter how proactive, helpful, leveraging different locations, across the board. And I'm forced to use CVS due to my insurance. To finish the exchange, I state I have nothing but problems with CVS at every location, have seen elderly women yelling at Pharmacists in other locations because they and pharmacy employees are so beyond incompetent and not solely overworked, it is criminal. Pharmacists at Walgreens, Costco, Walmart, Harris Teeter seem to know how to fill prescriptions, apply discount programs, inform customers, and also not call them on Saturdays soliciting business to fill prescriptions one might not regularly need which CVS does, and would likely be too incompetent to even fill after proactively reaching out to a patient... As I'm leaving, I tell the pharmacist to put the prescription back and I'll have it filled elsewhere. I call another CVS 45 minutes away who's the only CVS in the area who has the prescription, explain my problems with this CVS in Target at Renaissance Parkway, she advises the medication is in stock, sees my details for the Manufactures Program, no issues in their system, and my copay $0. Confirming what I was forced to argue with the Pharmacist about in Target in Renaissance Parkway. Comical thing is this is the second time I've had this happen at this location where the previous time, I was able to get a different incompetent pharmacist to properly do their job after failing to do so the first time. Even more comical is this medication is for migraines. Do you think I had a migraine after dealing with this scenario? Imagine if you had cancer, and the simple act of trying to get your medication for cancer made your cancer worse? Avoid CVS at every cost. Avoid this location. If you need a medication and it is life-critical, get your affairs in order as this CVS will leave you hanging. I work in technology. The HW/SW CVS uses is bottom barrel likely exposing CVS to significant security vulnerabilities and data breeches, however, I digress... Pretty sure their HW doesn't have physical TPMs as it's no name HW from overseas, not Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc. which is a huge problem for anyone in the know."
"Left a notice up about their walk in clinic being open but they havent been open in two years. Made me waste my time by coming here and missed opportunities to go elsewhere. Now I have to wait and be sick until tomorrow because of cvs/target. Thanks"
"I tried to get my medication filled here tonight at 6:30pm that my MD called in for me. The lady refused to fill my order and advised that I go to the Garrett Rd. CVS because they close at 8. I get to the Garrett rd. CVS and they cannot fill my prescription because the Target/CVS has it under "processing." This is very frustrating especially considering that I have the flu right before Thanksgiving and it would be nice to have my Tamiflu. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to try again."
