The people who work in this facility are very smart, caring, sensitive, understanding, and fun loving individuals. I've had the opportunity to get to know each person who works or has worked as interns, assistants, front end , and the one and only Mrs. Bernadine Martin. I and the family love this facility and the people in it. They've been very flexible with scheduling for my family and I. "I have the worst phobia of dental work and I can for the first time say I've found a dental office I love! Dr. Martin is gentile and she explained every thing she was doing so I wasn't surprised or anxious at all during the procedure. I had to have a root canal done and she was so gentle and expert with her work that I had absolutely no pain afterwards which I didn't even think was possible. They also let me use their VR goggles to watch Netflix while they worked on my teeth which also cut down on my anxiety. Angela at the front desk is absolutely amazing too, she figured out exactly what my insurance would cover unlike most dental offices which have just told me to go on my insurance website. She helped me to make a plan to take care of the most urgent work I need done first and was honest about what I needed to do right away and what could wait until next year when my insurance benefits reset. I usually cry just thinking about going to the dentist but i don't think i'll ever dread a visit to Syracuse Smiles!"
