Reviews of Aspen Dental - Camillus, NY
"They are very efficient they got me in as soon as possible. They explained everything that I need to have like the cleanseness of the place. I like the workers they're very pleasant. I believe this connection to Aspen dental will work out fine for me."
"Awful so far. Quoted one price , now getting bills for hundreds, maybe thousand + more . How are you that far off on an estimate ? I feel deceived and lied to. I’ve already had most of the work done so of course I have no choice with a metal rod in my jaw to continue with the implant . Also the dentist was almost an hr behind today, I was told I could bring my 2 yr old . Then I was given a hard time by the dentist that my child was there!"
"If I could give zero stars I would. They change your appointments and the times without prior notifications. Even if you scheduled it a year in advance they just cancel it on you, no notice, no phone call, no text, nothing. And if you try to call and figure out what's going on they put you on an hour hold then hang up on you. If you can even get through to anyone. And if they do by the grace of God answer you after their hour hold, you're given the run around. They will not call you back if you leave a voice mail. In addition they also will not bill your insurance correctly and will demand payment right there for any continued services for their error. So if you try to drive there and talk to an actual person get prepared to sit there for two hours, just to be given an attitude for their errors. The dentists watch the TVs if they aren't yelling at their assistants. This is the worst dentist office I have ever been to, due to this I wouldn't recommend it to a single person."
"I had oral surgery to have 2 teeth extracted. They told me they were going to call into Walgreens some pain pills immediately following the procedure. My mother drove me there (since i was sedated) to Walgreens and they never sent in my pain meds. So I called Aspen Dental asking why not? Their answer. They said the "Dr told them to tell me to take otc Tylenol!" Yes Tylenol. Well I did and the pain was unbearable. I called the next day complaining my face was swolled up and I can't eat anything. So the next day they called me in Hydrocodone 5/325 (10 qty) but called it into the wrong Walgreens accross town! This is the weakest pain pill I ever took. My face isn't as swollen but I am still in massive pain. So if you enjoy getting 2 teeth ripped out of your head then lied to about getting pain medication this practice is perfect for you. Plus it cost $804 cash for sedation which I paid in full. Edit: After paying my bill in full they just sent me another bill...for $442 more dollars! I called Jenna the manager why and was told it is insurances fault. Riiiight. They told me it would cost $804. Not "we hope it will cost $804 but probably $1246." I will never go back and I also need a cavity filled. TLDR:They actually lied to my face saying that they sent me a script for pain meds. Waited an hour at Walgreens before calling Aspen Dental telling me to buy Tylenol or Ibuprofen at the PHARMACY after 2 morals extracted! Update: yesterday Oct 14 (10 days after surgury) I was in so much pain I had to go to my primary care doctor at CNY Family Care. I had an infection in my lower jaw. My doctor said I had an infection and a dry socket. He prescribed me Amox-Clav 875 125mg 14 pills and 10mg Oxycodone 21 pills. I had my surgery at Aspen Dental Oct 4. Today is Oct 15 2023 and I feel a bit better. I am calling another Oral Surgeon tommorow. My Dr. Augustine at Cny Family Care is very concerned for me and I have a list of dentists I am calling tomorrow because I think i need surgery...again. I added a pic of the antibiotics prescribed."
