"Only one employee was working had to wait a hour for a walk in, showed the girl a simple hair cut trim dead ends and simple layering paid $30 and when she was done after a hour and half absolutely no layers asked where the layers were and showed the sample picture again to her and again when she was done absolutely no layers and my hair was almost to my butt when I walked in and when she was done my hair was 4 inch above my shoulders!!! Will never come here again!"

"They never have enough staff and their online booking is completely inaccurate. It said zero minutes wait at 1 pm when I left my house and by the time I got there 10 minutes later it was next day until the next available time! Update - I left the Holt Rd one and ended up calling the Empire Blvd. location from the parking lot. They had far more people working. I asked if it's still a walk-in based business given the signs say so and they said Holt Rd always struggles with staffing and the one person gets booked constantly. Although Holt Rd is easier for me to go to, I will be going to Empire from now on."

"Making another appointment with Regan made me realize I never left a review for from my first visit with her a couple months ago. I was desperate for a lightening/balayage update and made a last minute appointment prior to heading out of town. Not having been to Hair Zoo in YEARS I went, fingers crossed, hoping it would be fine. Reagan did NOT disappoint. She listened and while she went a little conservative on what I wanted worried to overdo it, she did a great job and next time she can take the color a bit further getting me where I want to be. I’m headed in for an in between toning for this next appointment. Reagan is great and she’s not mentioned a lot here in the reviews. I promise that if you need to find someone to trust your head to, Reagan will listen, give honest feedback and work to meet your expectations"

"I needed a cut and layers trimmed up. Made an appointment with Petra after reading many great reviews regarding her hair cutting skills. Definitely was a great idea! Even tho it was my first appointment with Petra she seemed to “know” my hair and exactly what I needed for more volume. My hair looked great and I was very pleased with the outcome. Will definitely be going back!"
