"Both of my children have been longtime patients here and have had good experiences. However, our last visit here, Dr. Johnson was very unprofessional. They used an auto-refractor to screen my daughter for her vision and determined that she needed an eye exam based on the readings. Dr. Johnson then tells my wife that he recommends Dr. Hidaji at Duke to perform an eye exam because optometrists prescribe glasses even though kids may not need them. Had he looked at the chart, he would have seen that my profession is an optometrist. I have performed an eye exam on my daughter, as well as many other patients in the city and I have never done what Dr. Johnson claimed that my profession does. This is very distasteful and I can't believe that a physician would treat another physician in this manner."
