"I left a nail salon in Merrick to be a customer at Miss U based off a recommendation of a friend. I haven’t been back to the other salon. The main reason I switched salons was due to ambiance/cliental and not service. I can honestly say the service at Miss U is exceptional. I usually try to make an appointment but today I didn’t and called beforehand. The manager was able accommodate me today, a holiday (Labor Day). They were busy. The manager could see I was eyeing gel and he (helped me) match the color to my nails. He has done this for me before but today he painted each nail on his hand a different color for me to see. To me that is going above and beyond. I don’t have enough good things to say about the manager or others that work here. Everyone is really sweet and I really recommend switching if you are shopping around for a new place."

"Miss U Nails is a very good salon up in Long Island. Finding a place a near me to do some Pinterest inspired nails or even some Chinese nail art is very hard without breaking the bank. They take their time in doing your nails and helps you with anything you need. Upon doing my nails they always make sure you’re okay with the shape and design before moving onto the next step. Highly satisfied"

"I would like to note that if I could give this nail salon more than 5 stars, I would. The owners, are a husband and wife team, they go above and beyond to be sure you are statisfied with the services they provide and you are paying for. Unlike many nails salons, if you make an appointment you are taken on time. The salon is very clean with a comfortable professional environment. (they even have private pedi suites upon request) I have found it very hard to find a consistently great nail salon until now. (I drive an hour to get here, i know call me crazy!!! but I leave HAPPY for "me" it's worth it) THANK YOU MISS U NAILS!!! Mike, my nails look so good!!!"

"This place is awful, I went there for powder gel paid a literal fortune powder gel & reg pedicure $65 dollars. I don’t mind paying BUT the nail lady cut THREE DIFFERENT FINGERS OF MINE I WAS BLEEDING and as I winced in pain she giggled and made kissing noises toward its. She spent half the manicure checking her Venmo and I got no discount or anything extra I paid $65 dollars PLUS tip for bleeding fingers and a possible infection. The powder gel is also clunky and not shaped well. Would never go back."
