"Javier Romero gave me the best haircut I have had in Years! It was my fourth haircut with him and he absolutely got what I have been wanting for a very long time! On top of that, for my second haircut with him, he came to my house to do it because I had broken my foot and ankle and couldn’t walk! Don’t ask him to do that unless you are in dire need. He did it because he’s a great person. Go to his salon. He is fantastic and will give you a fabulous haircut!"

"I've had trust issues with hairdressers ever since I could remember. For instance, my first hair cut! My stepmom, couldn't handle my "kind of hair", you know, the hybrid half human/ half martian hair that looks harsh but it's silky fine, untamable floating all over the place, always dry like the Sahara Desert, with shapeshifting textures and colors, or as my classmates used to say "you have ...Baaah! Sheep's hair!!!". Basically, hairdressers back then didn't know how my delicate mane and I would always leave the salons with some serious damaged, followed by breaking straw-like hair..... Long story short, I've found the best hair colorist at this salon chain with the magic touch! I'm not sure about others working there because I only allow Iliana to touch my precious golden locks!!!!.....oh yeah!, I'm still mad at the hairdresser who ( when I was 10) decided to cut my "pig tail" without asking!...."

"AVOID AVOID AVOID. The only haircut that has ever made me cry. My request was simple. "A 2.5 inch trim with layers, moderate layers, nothing dramatic, like an inch or two". The woman, with an Eastern European/Russian accent, tattoos on her arms, and straight dark brown hair, said "okay" and then proceeded to chop off half my hair anyways. She cut off so much, when I saw the back of my hair was so short, I thought she was keeping my hair in place with a clip, you know how hairdressers do by twirling it and scrunching it up. The only solution then was to chop off my bottom layer by another few inches. My hair is now inches shorter than I ever wanted it. To say I am pissed off is a massive understatement. To make matters worse, this woman was an absolute jerk to the hairdresser next to her. She pulled my chair over and in to get out of the other woman's way, then yelled, "I only did it because I don't wanna hear you." What a nasty piece of work. I should have asked for another hairdresser then. If this wasn't outrageous enough, this woman suggested I use a hair amplifier. Um, hello? My father is black. My hair is thick as hell and naturally curly. You want me to use an amplifier? LOL. She had clearly never seen my hair dry and I think that is the fundamental problem with this salon: the two girls who wash your hair are not the girls cutting your hair. How can you cut someone's hair without knowing what it looks like dry? At the end I asked for the manager, as I was on the verge of tears. The woman's defense was, "I only cut layers like this!" (Motioning about a four inch length.) I said to her, "Then you should have said you can't do my hair and showed me to someone else instead of proceeding to do it anyways. I told you at the start I wanted moderate layers and showed you how much!" I stormed out and will never go back."
