"Regardless of race , gender or age.. Bring a picture of the haircut or hairstyle you want and Gina will work her magic. Now she really doesn't Need a picture But it would help of your a person who prefers a specific look. THe shops on Bedford between Madison & Putnam and Gina is the Only person I'm referring to you all. So whether your have deadlocks, your a blonde, brunette, afro, short cut go check Gina and tell her Haitian Larry sent you. Oh, ask for the price 1sr. I'm not saying she's expensive bit in life you get what you pay for and she's a quality hair stylist."
"Moving to a new neighborhood always comes with the daunting task of finding a new barbershop. I tried several around Bedford & Fulton, to no avail. I work in the service industry so I'm extra picky about who I give my money to. I encountered many barbers in the neighborhood who were rude or acted like they didn't want my patronage at all. All of that changed when I went to Timbuktu. Bumpy listens during my consultation, whereas at a neighboring barbershop I had a guy act like I was interrupting his cellphone conversation when I wanted to tell him how to cut my hair. Bumpy asks how I like what he's doing during the cut. He's very amicable and always gives me the cut I ask for. I would recommend this place over any other shop in the neighborhood, hands down."
