Printful: Print On Demand & Fulfillment at Westlake

"If I could give ZERO stars I would. I ordered almost $3k worth of shirts for my staff and to sell to my customers. In the last several months all of my logo has flaked off from all staff shirts and client shirts. When I asked to have this looked into I was told I am outside of my 30 days and they don't warranty product after 30 days. Listen I have had T-shirts for 20 years. Don't tell me product deterioration is normal after 2-3 washes and don't tell me to ask my clients if they are washing according to instructions. I was in the printing business for almost 30 years. I KNOW this is an adhesion issue with my run. But they refuse to make it right. Anyone want a shirt you can wear 2-3 time and then have to throw away? Go with Printful. Otherwise don't walk run away and print with a company that will stand by their products and not give you the runaround. I have asked over and over to speak with someone in manufacturing or management and get no response. I believe that the customer service is farmed out at this point and they don't give 2 peanuts whether a customer is happy or upset. I am posting one just one of the dozens of examples of the same issue occurring. See for yourself! I hope someone at Printful takes their customer service seriously one day but for me they have not and as a small business owner I don't have thousands to just throw away."

"Persistent Syncing Issues and Inadequate Support: am writing this review to express my deep frustration and dissatisfaction with the ongoing syncing issues I have been experiencing with Printful, which is adversely affecting my business operations. The primary purpose of integrating with a Print-on-Demand (POD) service like Printful is to ensure that orders are seamlessly and automatically synced, created, and shipped. Unfortunately, this has not been the case with Printful, and the consistent failure of orders to automatically sync is an issue that has persisted for years. One of the most concerning aspects of this problem is the negative impact on order tracking and shipping updates. On multiple occasions, I have discovered that items were marked as late on my seller platform when, in reality, the customer had already received the shipment. This not only jeopardizes the integrity of my Amazon account but has also led to penalties on the selling platform. In the past month alone, I have been compelled to contact Printful support on three to five occasions regarding orders that failed to sync automatically. This is not only time-consuming but also undermines the efficiency and reliability that I expect from a professional POD service. Furthermore, the lack of timely responses and occasional disregard from Printful support has added to my frustration. As someone who takes their business seriously, these issues are not only impacting my workflow but also tarnishing the reputation of my brand. I have repeatedly reached out to Printful for assistance, but unfortunately, no satisfactory resolution has been provided. It is disheartening to feel ignored and left without a solution to recurring problems that have a direct and detrimental impact on my business. Considering the critical nature of syncing issues and their potential consequences on my Amazon account, I am left with no choice but to explore alternative POD providers. I believe it is crucial for a business to have a reliable and responsive partner, and unfortunately, Printful has failed to meet these expectations. I hope that by sharing my experience, Printful can recognize the urgency of addressing these persistent issues and improving their support services. The success of my business relies on the efficiency and reliability of the services I choose, and as it stands, Printful has fallen short of delivering on these essential aspects."

"After doing a ton research, Printful was the first company I tried for my online business. Now, after spending many months building my website and creating lots of products I have a fully functioning store with hundreds of options on apparel and accessories. In this time I have also looked into other companies and even tried a few, and I have come to the conclusion that Printful is the best option for someone like me that wants a full line of designs and products, but does not have capital to order inventory. They also seem to be the only truly free option where they only make money from you if you sell products! Pros: There are no hidden fees and they don't charge you to integrate with other sites - like your own website, Amazon, Etsy, etc. Most of the products I have gotten have been really nice. The print and color quality on the all-over print products is really amazing! Plus, every sample I have ordered looks just like the mock-up, that's pretty unbelievable since they are print to order, then cut out, then sewn! For the most part the product integration is really good. You can design products on their mock-up generator and they are automatically synced to your website or another selling platform. One of the best things for me, since I am trying to grow my brand, is that they have the option for labels on many of the products. They also allow for multiple image layers - this is HUGE - so I don't have to tailor multiple images for multiple products. This also makes it possible to put specific size logos on products that do not have labels. I have also found that their customer service is really good! I have had problems with a couple orders and they have gotten back to me right away and rushed out replacements. Also, they have lots of informational videos for when you are first starting out. They also allow sellers to leave reviews and photos on all the products, this is very helpful when trying to decide what products to offer. Cons: As I said above, for the most part the product integration is really good, when it works, it works great! But I have also had consistent problems with syncing. I will create products and they will sync up with my website just fine, then the next day they are not synced any more. Then I have to go in manually and re-sync each size and variation manually, which takes quite some time! This happens off and on so I do not know why it's happening and their tech support has not been very helpful for this problem despite many chats and emails. I have also had a few problems with the quality of a few of the products. I have ordered 2 hoodies and even though the hoodie itself seems to be really nice quality, the zippers have been bad. I have also changed some of my designs for regular print shirts since the "DTG" printing seems to be quite a bit softer and more fragile than screen printing. Then, there are just some products that are cost prohibitive to sell even though they look very nice - like the towels. Overall, for me, the positives far outweigh the negatives, mostly due to the extremely high quality of their all-over print - rich vibrant colors. So, I decided to go with 5 starts. I had originally put 4 stars due to the cons I listed, but then I needed to weigh in the fact that the integration thing is a difficult intermittent problem and when compared to other companies, their tech support is probably better than most - at least there is one. So, even though I have had some issues with the integration, once everything is synced - it works GREAT! People make orders on my site and the order goes straight to Printful, then they make the product & ship it. The majority of their products are great and if there is a problem with a product, they will make it right. I highly recommend Printful."

"Gotta say the Printful yoga leggings are my most comfortable yoga leggings! The printing quality is good and the design team is easy to work with. As a textile designer by trade- I wanted to make sure the colors reproduced true to my design. The design team was very clear on what I needed to do. The customer service team is AWESOME! Very responsive! I plan to keep working with Printful for my online store!"
