"I had a wonderful experience! Yes, it is a long wait to get an initial consult but getting an hour visit with a doctor is literally unheard of, and I know I work in the medical system! My insurance covered the visit and all I paid was the copay. The monthly membership is only one option to be seen."
"The environment is beautiful and soothing which is great if you have medical anxieties. However, it is hard to access much, besides upsold acupuncture and other luxury health services. The nutrition counselor is booked out for months, the trauma counselor is a waitlist I never made it to the end of before I gave up and ended membership. Came in straight from cancer care and was unable to address any post-treatment or quality of life concerns, they are really set up for healthy people with a lot of disposable income, or maybe folks that have chronic conditions that are already well managed."
"I have had a great experience with Duke Integrative Medicine. It is expensive, but it has helped me so much. Everyone I have worked with here has been kind and taken time to really talk and listen to me. If you have been bouncing around in the system without a clear diagnosis and treatment yet, this may be a good option to consider especially if you have a history of anxiety/depression."
"This is an incredible practice! I have been a patient of Dr. Blackford's for several years and she is wonderful! I also can't say enough about the facility, the entire nursing staff, the receptionists and the massage therapists. Some may question the membership fee and I would say, 100% totally worth it and the drive. Having more time with your provider and having after hours access truly makes a HUGE difference!"
"I have found it shockingly easy to schedule appointments in several departments of DIM, in the middle of a pandemic none the less. I have found that the cost for the majority of their services are unexpectedly affordable. Their scheduling department and acupuncturists Taran and Janet are amazing. The facility is clean bright and relaxing. So far, my experience has been top notch!"
