"If I could give zero stars I would. I was ripped off. I had my first wisdom tooth removed 3 years ago and it was all covered by my insurance, didn't have to pay anything. Half a year ago I got my second one removed and they said I have to pay $175. I thought it was for the PAN X-Ray because they didn't say I had to pay until they told me to get the x-ray done at their 59th St location. They didn't explain what it was for either. Last month I removed the last two wisdom tooth and they charged me $350 ($175 per tooth). Now I know what that $175 was for... They told me my insurance approved the procedure yet I was charged saying it was the difference. I didn't suspect anything until my sister who works for clinics and deals with health insurance told me it's covered and I was being ripped off. Turns out when I called my DDS provider, they said the office didn't want to wait for my insurance to cut them the check so they charged me up front. They ripped me off and had no intention of refunding me. If i hadn't filed a complaint with my DDS Provider, they'd never have admitted they'd overcharged me and I would't get my money back. (I still haven't gotten it back yet) Office lady said they'd refund me once they get the money back from insurance company. However the first $175 from half a year ago was paid out a long time ago. My refund? No where."
