"I was a walk in looking for a manicure, I said it was my first time there, I heard someone say oh God, listen I'm new to the neighborhood looking for a new spot, guess what I won't be coming back! The technician barely even acknowledged me, didn't say anything to me except for cut short and quick dry, she didn't even do a good pedicure, basically cut my nails and painted them!, when someone tells you it's their first time there, don't you want to make a good impression?? I wasn't even offered extra services like would you like a spa or anything! Done"

"I went because there were good reviews. The tech that did my gel manicure was terrible, would not communicate and grabbed my hands without saying a word. She was careless and all my gel polish peeled off in a day. She didn’t bother cutting my cuticles. I am very disappointed as I didn’t get my nails done in a while and was looking forward to this. I have to redo my nails myself only a day after being at this salon. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone."

"I've been coming here for several years now and it's the best nail salon I've been to. It's a very quiet and calm environment and they ladies there are very nice and dedicated to their work. Everything is clean and the ladies take the time to get the details right. I also always relax best during their pedicures. Prices are slightly more expensive than regular nails salons, but the price shows in the quality of the product."

"I can't understand any of the negative reviews. Canaan Spa is the absolute BEST spa that I have ever used for receiving a double-gel manicure and pedicure! I accidentally stumbled upon Canaan Spa more than 3 years. Since then, I have been completely won over by their skill, professionalism, cleanliness and extreme sensitivity throughs a customer's needs! I have also enjoyed occasional full body massages there on those rare occasions that I have found time to pamper myself. All of the girls who work there are incredibly professional and very sweet. Whether you get Rina, Jenny, Candi, Anna, Bebe, Vicki, Wendy or anyone that I might have missed mentioning , you will not be disappointed. I've seen some reviews that mentioned high prices...I can't say that I agree with that either. I believe that the prices ARE reasonable, at least to me, whose beautifully and painstakingly done double-gel manicure and pedicure last me 4-5 weeks!! They offer other services as well though I've only enjoyed manicures, pedicures, back, feet and full-body massages, so far. Friendly AND efficient, I love, love, love this place and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!"
