"Gerardo is a true gem. I have curly hair and a lot of it and am a hairstylist loyalist. I have been commuting to my guy in LA for years. After years of complimenting a coworker on her hair I finally asked her for her hair stylist info and she said she has been following Gerardo for years through different salons and now here at his own spot. The salon is beautiful - perfectly located on ground level in wonderful neighborhood. It’s super clean, small, and personal as it’s just him cutting and washing hair. What I loved about him is the amount of attention he took to really understanding what I want. Took every detail I said for consideration and asked questions along the way if it was how i liked it, how i was use to my previous stylist doing it. I also went into it with a “surprise me” / not too prescriptive attitude and he did beautiful work on the cut. He’s very considerate and is easy going. Will talk as little or as much as you want.
