"My wife was diagnosed with ALL at our local hospital however they were not equipped to treat her. As a result we were referred to Dr. Richardson at UNC Cancer Hospital. We believe it was more than fate that led us to him. At that time my wife was dying and we needed not only highly skilled medical attention but someone that was caring, considerate and could lead us in whatever direction the Lord had in store. Dr. Richardson was that person. He spent considerable time with my wife and family members getting to know her as a person not just a patient. He became our "light of hope" both medically and spiritually. Today my wife is leading a almost normal life and for that we are eternally thankful to Dr. Richardson, his staff and all the caregivers at UNC Cancer Hospital."
