Gee Whiz Diner

"I was expecting the grilled cheese to be filled with artery clogging gold but instead it was nowhere near cheesy enough. The onion rings were fantastic and the service was good."

"Wow. An affordable diner in Manhattan, Tribeca! Went to Gee Whiz Diner and got a burger and fries. My fellow diner got lentil soup. They've got indoor and outdoor dining. Indoor was pretty empty on a Wednesday around 5 pm. Staff was very attentive and on point. Food came out quickly and was good. Love that they've got a smaller menu, unlike most diners."

"Really great diner food & the prices are excellent for TriBeCa. Went here on my lunch break and got a veggie burger and a turkey club triple decker. The food came out faster than the drinks (a soda and a michelada), but we had plenty of water. The portions were super generous too."

"I enjoyed lunch for two at this small diner. We had a tuna melt sandwich and a gyro combo. Honestly, both of us could have eaten with just one plate. The total for both meals was a little over 30 dollars without tip. Service was good and quick."

"Been going here off and on. But today was a bit of a disappointment. The place was slow probably from people practicing their social distancing. But seems like the slower the place the slower the service. It is a diner place so I guess you have to expect diner service. The waiter was not the friendliest. Plus I got charged for an ice tea refill when it was already $2.50. Not cool. The food wasn’t great but wasn’t bad either. The matzah ball soup could have been better. The menu is huge. If you’re looking for a good enough place and a quick meal then this place is fine. The taste of the food brought it one star and the no ice tea refill brought it one more star."
