Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"My mom & I came in to Cracker Barrel for lunch on Thur 02/08/24 around 1 pm. Within a minute, our waitress was at our table asking what we'd like to drink & a few minutes later she came back with our drinks & took our food order. I ordered a (fried) chicken & bacon sandwich with some sweet sauce on it & a side of hashbrown casserole. My mom ordered a salad with honey mustard dressing. Our food came out very quickly. It was hot, tasted great & was EXACTLY like we ordered. I asked for a little extra mayonnaise for my chicken sandwich & she brought it out with some more tea. One thing I especially loved about my sandwich was that there was plenty of lettuce & tomato. So many restaurants only put a thin sliver of lettuce & a tiny tomato that's over ripe. Yours was great!! My only critique is that I thought Cracker Barrel Old Country Store was supposed to be based on "Southern Cuisine" & I wish you would serve DILL PICKLES instead of sweet pickles, because us southern folks eat DILL Pickles on our sandwiches. Other than that, our service was wonderful & we never had to ask for anything because our waitress asked us first. I can't remember her name, but she was awesome!!"

"I ordered the pot roost it was cool and not falling apart. I took it home for my dogs to eat. But the rest of the meal was good. Love the biscuits. They were hot and melted the frozen butter."

"The food was good. The workers were very sweet. It is too small and understaffed for the amount of customers. We waited about 40 minutes to be seated for our reservation and were in the way of people leaving and shopping. From start to finish, it took over 2 hours to eat with a reservation (shopping time not included). We shopped a little, but stopped due to not being able to move in the tight space and blocked paths. Some of the items I was really interested in were unreachable because of guests waiting to be seated. I don't think it's the staff's fault. They were great. There needs to be more staff available to accommodate the customers, and more space for guests waited to be seated."

"Another great Lunch Special at the Cracker Barrel. All this for just $10.98! This time I got the meatloaf with hash brown casserole, pinto beans and an extra side of turnip greens. With chow chow relish, cornbread and blackberry jam. Plenty to eat! Amanda and Brandon will take good care of you. Do you need a rocking chair? They've got 'em! I went back for lunch a week later and got the broccoli cheddar chicken bake. Delicious and very filling. All for the same low price. Thank you Cracker Barrel for being consistently great! Meatloaf Lunch Special is now just $8.99!"

"This was outstanding! Eggs, cheese & steak piled on top of hashbrowns with 2 biscuits and jelly 'n jam for under $12.00. It was a big meal! I didn't eat anything else for the rest of the day! Breakfast at The Cracker Keg rules! And I got a free to-go cup of pretty good coffee (wish it was just a bit more robust, but some folks would not like that) with my purchase of coffee with my meal. The staff were also friendly and attentive, and there was no wait at all on a Monday morning at around 10:00."
