"We enjoyed visiting here during the 2023 Carolina Shop Hop. It's a very nice store and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of beautiful fabrics to choose from and items to help sewers of all abilities. Loved watching the Baby Lock machine stitching an image."
"I popped in because none of the fabric at Walmart really spoke to me. Lots of selection here, mostly around $12/yd for the cotton prints I was scoping, and lots of variety. Plenty of exciting fabric, because why do something by hand if you're not even excited about the materials? Staff was friendly to me lugging my babies around. Made a potentially stressful outing nicer. Including a few snaps of fun prints."
"Amazing customer service here. I contacted them via email for a custom pressing mat for my big board. It was created and shipped quickly from a tracing I made on wrapping paper. It fits perfectly! Contact with them was very easy and they replied promptly to all my questions."
"I used to love visiting this shop! I went recently and had such a horrible experience, that I’m not sure I’ll go back. First, they rearranged the store not by designer, or style of fabric, but sort of haphazardly by color. I could have stomached having a hard time finding the brands and designers I was looking for, but the women working there were so rude! When I ask for help to find a specific designer one of the women working waved her had toward one side of the store and said “we might have some over there.” Then the women who did cut my fabric was very short with me until she found out who my mother was. To add insult to injury, when I got home the cuts to the fabric were so crooked I barely had enough for my project. I know I didn’t spend a ton of money, but I really couldn’t believe the whole experience. Maybe the women working we’re having a bad day. Maybe my visits in the past were extraordinarily and spoiled me. Update: The last two times I visited I had a much better experience. The owner Lynn is very accommodating and knowledgeable!"
"This is the primo quilt and sewist shop! I moved to Franklin after living in Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville. I’ve seen great quilt stores and A Stitch in Time is The Best!!! I can also attest to working at the greatest as well! A Stitch in Time is all about the customer. And it’s all about the love of the craft!"
