"They never answer the phone. And when they do they’re rude. During their hour long lunch break the message hangs up on you so you can’t even leave a message for a call back. They’re only in Apex ONCE A MONTH! Why even bother? I wish we could change pcms but the military says where we can and can’t go. Another note…we’ve never actually seen Dr. Parker. It’s always random doctors. Never the same one."
"Very good and caring doctor with a great staff. He always listens and understands, and keep you smiling and laughing the whole visit!"
"Hope you don't need a life saving medication. Because they take 3-5 days to submit the pre-authorization form (which then gets denied because the request expired) - and you can't follow up because they almost never answer the phones (even during posted business hours)."
"I have been a long-time client of Dr Parker and his associates at Village Family Care Center since February 2007. His front desk admin staff’s people skills have always been lacking but got better over the years. They even had another site on Hope Mills Rd for existing clients with same day urgent care needs. Dr Parker, PAs and NPs medical care was excellent and that’s the only reason why I stayed. The CCN last 5 years, the front office personnel services went downhill again and more so now when it’s name became Goshen Medical Center bringing in new staff with remarkably lacking customer service skills. You can’t be seen anymore if you are sick and needing urgent care, they don’t call you back, you can’t leave RX refill requests anymore, you can never leave a message to Dr Parker or even to the office nurse(s). Dr. Parker is a great doctor but I am looking now for a new provider in town for my whole family."
"0 Stars is a more accurate rating. I never even made it to an appointment and am finding a new provider. The rude staff at the office insisted that they email me a new patient packet for my son. I had no problem with this other than the pushy, obnoxious, and rude staff and they way they talk down to Soldiers and their families. The packet arrived today for my son's (he is a minor) appointment tomorrow. This packet contains a HUGE amount of contractual items where this office insists that they can charge the patient and/or guardian for anything and everything. Charging even for making a copy of a paper and filling out a physical form (the appointment was for a standard physical). I called this office to inform them that I did not agree to the terms in their "contract", that I was active duty and that Tri-Care chose them... not me. I do not agree to being charged for all of the forms, copies, getting records sent to them, them sending records, referrals, and everything you could possibly think of. They were immediately rude, confrontational, and spoke over me for extended durations. Choose a DIFFERENT OFFICE. I cannot tell you if the doctor is any good but with the unprofessional staff they have representing them, it is a miracle the doctor even has a practice."
