"Wonderful Italian dining experience. Every dish (pasta, fried zucchini, calzone and tiramisu) was excellent, and the service was very attentive, providing updates when something was a little late. It was very fast too, specially considering it was a Holiday (December 24). The location is very relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommended. I found it reasonably priced too, with a total bill of $200, including one appetizer, one dessert, one glass of wine and two mains. We also ordered the bread basket and it was really good focaccia."

"Absolutely disappointed. The food is way too mediocre to be as expensive as it is. The drinks are bland, and I really love the dumbo and LA locations. This location was a huge let down and I walked to extremely unsatisfied and annoyed. The “pizzette” tasted like frozen pizza and the bolognese was terrible. There wasn’t even a hostess and after awkwardly standing in the restaurant for 5 mins we had to go get the hotel staff for help. Two stars is probably two stars too generous."

"Absolutely not what I expected from Cecconi’s in terms of food. Everything was so average. Chopped salad was boring. The dressing was absolutely nothing flavorful. We ordered cacio and Pepe and it was over peppered, dry, too thick, not enough sauce. And for the record that’s the only pasta I eat when I eat out. So this one was 3 out of 10. Not even 5. Then we had risotto, which was almost flavorless and so boring. No aroma nothing. Atmosphere with white tablecloth and ambience makes it look fancy. Service is excellent. But food is overall 3.5 out of 10. And we had like such a simple classics that must be done well. I think Dumbo location was yummier."

"Absolutely terrible service. The food was okay, but as soon as our food came out they never came by to check on us for over 45 min. We had no water and were sitting there parched for the whole time not really wanting to eat until we had something to wash it down with. When we finally were able to get our waitress over we told her we were unhappy and wanted the check. We were soon brought out a dessert menu by someone else and waited another 15 min before finally getting the check and some water. For the price it was completely unacceptable."
