"I was seeing dr.blache during my pregnancy and after. I had many issues that could've been easier if she had actually cared. After pregnancy, she just threw pills at me to feel better. I now have 3 prolapses and endometriosis but had to see a different doctor to find out about the endometriosis. I'm stage 4 and she told me I could have kids and I'm young then laughed at my other issues with my period. Then literally yelled back at me as she was already out the door "see ya next year." If I had stayed, my prolapses would be severe and I never would've known about the endometriosis. Stay far, far away from this devil."
"Ten years ago, I went through a really difficult pregnancy that resulted in the loss of my first child. I was really let down by Dr. Blanche who didn't take my concerns seriously at all. From as early as 7 weeks into the pregnancy, I was constantly vomiting, lost a significant amount of weight in just one week, and was physically unable to get off the couch. But her office insisted that everything was "normal". At 11.5 weeks, I started experiencing spotting, and once again my worries were brushed off with the explanation that "some spotting is normal". That night, I had a horrible hemorrhage at home and had to be rushed to UT medical where the fight became about saving my own life. It was then that I had to undergo an emergency D&C procedure, against my will, performed by the on-call doctor, Dr. Van Nes. A year later, I became pregnant again, and this time we switched to a different office (Women's Contemporary with Park West) - and what a night and day difference it was! I was treated with respect and had a team that genuinely cared about my well-being. At 7 weeks, I started experiencing similar issues as my first pregnancy, but this time they took immediate action. After a few weeks, I was diagnosed with severe Hyperemesis Gravidarum. I had to receive specialized medical care throughout the entire pregnancy and was on a zofran pump until the day I delivered. Out of my three pregnancies, all of them were affected by HG, but only two of my children are here with me today because of Dr. Blanche's neglect in listening to her patient. The emotional and physical pain of the miscarriage, the negligence of a trusted professional that nearly cost me my life and did cost the life of my child, as well as a procedure that was performed without proper education or consent by ME the patient, make it incredibly hard to forgive. Even now, ten years later, the mental effects of this experience continue to haunt me and my family. I share my story in such detail in the hope that no other mother has to endure the pain and mental distress caused by such a lack of care."
"Caroline Vaughn NP is great. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The nurses and clerical staff are personable as well. 10/10"
"Very poor customer/healthcare service. Particularly prenatal care. Would not recommend. Providers are not welcoming or friendly and do not make you feel comfortable or valued at such a special and vulnerable time in your life."
"I have been seeing Dr. Natalie Blanche for a couple years now. Her and the nurses are amazing. When I have an apointment with her, I rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes."
