Reviews
"Service was loud and obnoxious, witnessed the waitress being extremely rude to a single customer, and made her switch tables after she’d settled, yelled at her to sit down when she approached the counter to try and order. Our pizza was barely edible, very little sauce, crust a little burnt."
"I am very disappointed with my dinner. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was very watery and had barely any flavor. The chicken amore was also very mediocre at best. expensive dinners to not even include a side salad or even bread. I had to think very hard for at least one other restaurant who doesn't offer either or and nope can't think of a single one. First words out of my mouth after my first bite was wow... I'm surprised they are still in business. Sorry but that's my truth."
"I am very disappointed that they "Don't have a coffee pot" according to the waitress. Although the Parmigiano and pasta dishes were very good, they didn't offer garlic bread. The fried calamari and potato skins appetizers were well prepared, but the mozzarella sticks were plain and not very tasty."
"The staff was very friendly. The price was a bit high but the portions were large to make up for it. Everything was well cooked. The fries were perfection. The downside was that the chicken wrap was rather bland with minimal, if any, seasonings. The calzone was missing an ingredient and the impossible-to-chew broccoli stems weren't cut off. Ultimately I would rather see the portion sizes reduced a bit and the attention to detail and flavors bumped up."
"A classic, family-owned upstate New York Bar & Grille. There is nothing I dislike about this establishment. As a person who grew up in Upstate NY and has had the opportunity to travel the world, my first visit to this restaurant today, brought me back to my childhood. This restaurant embodies the type of restaurants from my childhood that we would visit for that one night per week nobody wanted to cook. That style of restaurant we would go to for celebration of special events such as birthdays or someone being put on the honor roll. One of those restaurants where you go for good food, good times, good people, but more importantly, great memories. The food: wings, done the way they should be. Crispy outside, tender and juicy inside. Classic buttery wing sauce that is so good and consistent that I don't even care if it's a brand name or if it's home made. The Duanesburger was cooked right, the first time. The brioche bun was soft and toasted to perfection. The ambiance: Classic small-town bar & grille. Restaurant area completely separate from the bar area which provides for an amazing dining experience for whatever setting you're looking for. Sarah, my bartender, knows everyone in here and easily talked me through the menu. Big-city food with small-town atmosphere. This time I'm traveling for business, but I am looking forward to bringing my wife and children here on my next trip. I didn't get a chance to look at their children's menu, but my 3 and 5 year old girls will review it on our next visit. Highly recommend this restaurant!"
