"Love my apartment but I’m so tired of the car break ins and parking issues. My car was broken into-- as were several other residents' cars. I immediately reported it to the apartment complex management team and sent a copy of the police report to management. Management is aware of the ongoing problem with residents' cars being broken into, but has failed to take any more action to protect their residents and their residents' property. I asked several times for updates on my own case-- which happened months ago-- and not once has someone from the management team reached out. Disappointed to see such a lack of concern. It’s also incredibly annoying to struggle to find a parking spot at a complex I’m paying rent for—all because management refuses to fix the gate"

"Hate to leave bad reviews, but hopefully ownership/management will take note. Leasing staff acts as though they are afraid of answering phones and/or emails. I had a TERRIBLE experience trying to lease an apartment here - left multiple voice mails and emails after submitting application to no response for weeks. No wonder the rent was so cheap for the location... Not worth saving the extra money!! Lack of security, smelly hallways and stairwells, and car break-ins have all left me itching to get out of this place and find another building, even at higher rent!"

"Building looks and feels like a prison. Security measures are not taken seriously- 20 cars were smashed and stolen in one night.. but you live downtown so expect this. Management is unresponsive to maintenance requests and emails. A colony of sewer rats would be a better management team. I would wish this place on my worst enemy. 0/10."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. My mother is 73 and applied here and as a retired minority veteran she was treated poorly by the asst manager and the property manager. They would not except her bank statements that showed her monthly direct deposits to verify her income. However another apartment complex under the same management company with the same policies approved her and excepted the same documents she submitted to the Devon. Crazy enough, they excepted her documents and they were very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. I would not recommend no one to this property until they get better management that knows the policies, not interpret their way and can speak with respect and not belittle someone. My mom loved the facility but unfortunately the management was NOT knowledgeable of the policies. They do have 2 agents, Gary and the other young man in the office were awesome and always very pleasant! Want to be treated fairly with respect? DO NOT APPLY HERE!!!"

"The upkeep of the building is very poor. The best thing about living here would be the location. Close to bars downtown and walking distance to most restaurants but that’s about it. Leasing office consultants don’t care about you nor your problems that you may have. The maintenance men do their jobs pretty good. But the safety is also non existent. Cars have been broken into multiple times and the “cameras” are pretty much non existent"
