Oberlin Court Apartments

"I dont know from where I can start this story. I moved here May 2023, after 1 month with heavy rain my bedroom ceiling start leaking. For solving problem they take it off my bedroom wall and cover with some plastic my half of bedroom, then they forgot about my apartment. 4 months, all summer I slept without any wall, without any AC! Worst part -If its rainy day or night I try to sleep with this leaking and driping noise which is not possible! After 4 months when I go to lease office they realize they forget about me and they told me -ohhh we are waiting maintenance , to find from where is coming this water, after while this people came and they take it off this plastic things because not possible to sleep in this bedroom without walls because winter is here. Staff is friendly, but not helpful, every time I mailed or visited everybody said sorry, or we will work on it and never came time to solve this problem. Now im living here 8 months still I cant use my heat, AC in my bedroom and still in rainy day i have to sleep with this water dripping noise.. Last 8 months nobody inspect my appartment, just be sorry not helps staying in winter time in cold bedroom. If you think about to move here you need to think 1 more time. "i have really enjoyed living here. my apartment is spacious with nice finishes and a huge balcony. i appreciate how the parking garage goes up to every floor as well. usually i feel pretty safe here. the location is great, walkable to village district with groceries, shopping, and coffee shops and even nc state if you don't mind a 1-2 mile walk. maintenance also is quick to respond to requests."

"First off, the pros: the space is pretty big, and the price for rent is low-average compared to similar buildings in the area. The location is great. The only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is because of ROACHES. I keep my place pretty clean, and I've seen a lot of cockroaches in my apartment during the hot days. It's so bad. I've had them come spray my apartment 5 times. I think these roaches are immune to whatever they're spraying. ETA: the mgmt company’s response obviously didn’t look at my review. Another spraying won’t help."

"Great price for location and the staff have been helpful whenever we’ve run into issues. Maintenance is prompt. Not the newest or best amenities, but they are working on that. New gym, pool furniture, etc. Overall happy"
