"Receiving balance due notices and move out notices on an issue I have literally been discussing with Betsy (manager) for a month now. The notice is from her! I'm baffled y'all. Had a credit on my account to say I made a payment as well as bank statements. She even stated there was a system error in an email. Sent in all the documents she asked for but it's still not enough to say that I paid my rent. I just want to understand why this errors happened, twice! I'm feeling very scammed. Never had an issue with any other complex and all my other bills from the same account were conveniently paid. I would give zero if I could but the 1 star is just for the maintenance guy. He is always asking residents, including myself if all issues are good and following up."

"I toured this property with my parent's and Alexis was the leasing agent I worked with. She is hands down the nicest person, most sincere person I've ever met. I toured a different complex the previous day and my parents didn't warm up to the other agent. But they immediately liked Alexis. Having lived in many apartment communities, I know the importance of liking the people working in the office because when issues arise, you should feel comfortable communicating with the leasing agents. After touring the property with Alexis, I knew immediately that this was the community for me. Not only is it one of the most pet friendly communities, the first floor apartments have fenced in yards, which is perfect for my little dog. The complex is also in walking distance from a shopping center, which was important to me. They are still working on the pool, which is planned to be opened just in time for the summer. As soon as I got back to my Airbnb, I put in an application. I'm moving to Durham for a new job and I'm so much more relaxed knowing I've found the perfect apartment complex. I can't wait to move in."

"Two weeks ago, my fiancé and I visited corners apartments with consultant Sierra for a tour of their 3-bedroom floor plans. Despite initial impressions, the experience soured when Sierra mentioned seeking permission from her assistant manager for a tour just 45 min before closing time she was nice . Despite approval being verbally communicated to us from sierra 5 days after our application had already been sitting there we came in 4-5 days later and spoke with Betsy, who acted like she understood our time sensitivity and, the application process taking longer than promised. Despite multiple calls for updates, we were ignored, and Alexis seemed unresponsive to our concerns she made unrelated comments and was more concerned on telling us we were not a priority despite our apt being available for move in immediately they took our 400 security deposit over promised on a 72 hour app process and under delivered . Feeling discriminated against and experiencing a lackluster process, I believe my security deposit should be refunded due to the unprofessionalism and inconsiderate handling of our application. Beware of this place, as the beautiful community is marred by a disorganized leasing office."

"I love everything about Corners Apartments Brier Creek. Betsy, the assistant manager, was phenomenal during showing the apartment initially, and followed up on our interests. She was very knowledgeable about the property and every staff member is so professional. The gym is to die for. A lot of apartments state they’re luxury living, but I think The Corners defined what luxury living should actually be. These apartments go above and beyond expectations. "My family's experience at The Corners has been overwhelmingly positive. Yes, there is ongoing construction, but the management team has been very transparent about this since I moved in and has been diligent in resolving any issues we've had. Plus, it's great to live in an entirely new space! Also, I can't forget to mention that Trevor is amazing. Highly recommend this complex :)"
